Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins Headlines WWE SummerSlam Night 2: Live Results & Updates

Night one is in the books, and SummerSlam rolls into its second and final night from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis with four titles on the line and a rivalry six years in the making finally settled one-on-one.

The World Heavyweight Championship headlines as Roman Reigns defends against Seth Rollins for the first time in singles competition since the 2022 Royal Rumble. The two have been tied together since their Shield days, and Rollins has never stopped insisting the title around Reigns' waist is still rightfully his. Expect this one to close the show with Bloodline chaos always lurking as a possibility.

History gets made earlier in the night when five women climb the ladder for the newly created Interim WWE Women's Championship. Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton, Chelsea Green and Lash Legend all have a case, and whoever comes down with the belt earns a shot at Rhea Ripley once she's back from injury. With five bodies and one prize hanging above the ring, this has "show-stealer" written all over it.

Elsewhere, Finn Bálor and Sami Zayn settle who challenges CM Punk for the Undisputed WWE Championship — a No. 1 contender's match with real championship-opportunity stakes and no title cushion to fall back on.

The title matches keep coming: Penta defends the Intercontinental Championship against Chad Gable, who brings his Original El Grande Americano luchador pedigree into the mix, while Trick Williams puts the United States Championship on the line against Baron Corbin, back in a WWE ring for the first time in nearly two years.

Closing out the undercard, Danhausen and Dominik Mysterio settle their feud the only way that makes sense for either of them — a Human Monies on a Pole match, because SummerSlam has room for one absurd stipulation among the gold.

There's supposedly a big angle to start night two. 

Sami Zayn Vs. Finn Balor Vs. Gunther Vs. Kevin Owens

After Sami and Finn were in the ring, Nick Aldis came out and said he was adding people to the match. He announced Gunther has been added and then said there was one more person added and it would be Kevin Owens. Owens received an insane pop.

Sami and Kevin hugged before going at it. This is the normal WWE four-way with folks laying outside and it being a series of one-on-one spots. 

Owens was hurt and Sami wanted to take advantage of it and readied for the Helluva kick, but Gunther caught him in a sleeper. Finn jumped off the top with the Coup de grâce to break it up.

It broke down to Owens and Zayn. Zayn hit a Blue Thunder bomb for a two count before Owens beat him with a stunner. Owens is the number one contender for CM Punk.

Winner: Kevin Owens

Baron Corbin Vs. Trick Williams

Trick jumped him before the match started and clotheslined him over the top rope a minute into the match. The match quickly became big bad heel Corbin dominating Trick. He tossed Lil' Yachty into the barricade.

Corbin went to get Trick's title but Yachty stopped him. Trick came to save Yachty and Yachty was pushed off the apron and was supposed to go through the table. He just bounced off it.

Corbin then hit the End of Days to win the match and the US title. Really.

Winner: Baron Corbin

Tiffany Stratton Vs. Jade Cargil Vs. Chelsea Green Vs. Lash Legend Vs. Charlotte 

This is a ladder match for the Interim title where the winner faces Rhea Ripley. 

There was a big Jade and Lash meet-up in the middle that Charlotte spoiled with a high cross off the top rope. Tiffy and Charlotte had a stand-off as well which ended with Tiffy getting a face full of ladder. 

There was a cool spot where Tiffy pushed Lash back into the turnbuckle with the ladder around her midsection and then Lash powerbombed her onto the ladder. Charlotte went for the belt and Jade pulled the ladder out from under her so she hung from the title hanger. Jade and Lash pulled her down and almost didn't catcher. 

Tiffy was pushed from the ladder and fell really fast to the outside and onto bodies. Chelsea was ready to win but the Baddies came and interfered. 

Jade and Charlotte were fighting at the top of the ladder and both went down. Chelsea was tied up in the ladder and when they went down, Chelsea climbed up to win the title.

Winner: Chelsea Green

Dominick Mysterio Vs. Danhausen

JD McDonough entered early to make it a two-on-one until the Minihausens jumped in. The four Minihausens tried to get to the money on the pole, but Dom stopped them. 

Joe Hendry came out with a guitar. He got a full entrance. 

Danhausen and Dom were both going for the money and Danhausen got crotched. He then cursed Dom. Sparklers lit up from the turnbuckle and I think it meant that it hurt Dom and Danhausen grabbed the money.

Winner: Danhausen

Chad Gable Vs. Penta

Story of the match was that Gable shoulder was hurt, so everything he did was stunted by having a bad shoulder. Penta went after it with submissions and kicks. 

Gable was able to transition into an ankle lock. He went to the apron and did a German suplex and then a moonsault from the outside to the floor. 

Gable got the ankle lock and then grapevined the knee to win the match.

Winner: Chad Gable

Seth Rollins Vs. Roman Reigns

The match started slow as you'd expect. Early selling by both. Match picked up when they went outside and used the tables. They gave each other powerbombs into the announcer's table and then beat the 10 count. Seth got in first and took advantage of it with a Pedigree for a two count.

Roman hit a Superman punch but missed a spear. Seth hit the stomp for a two. Roman put a Guillotine on Seth and then sat down on it. Seth tried to suplex his way out, but Roman slipped out and hit a spear for a two. Seth hit a spear for two. Rollins talked some trash and hit a Bucklebomb.

Seth missed a stomp. Roman hit a Bucklebomb and then hit his own stomp for a two count. After more trash talking, the ref went down after after bumping into Seth. Seth did some Dean Ambrose stuff, then Roman did Dean's DDT. Roman went for a spear and speared the referee on accident. 

With the ref out, they both teased hitting each other in the backs with the chair. Roman threw the chair down and said he wanted to throw punches instead. They threw punches and kicks. Seth missed a stomp, hit a stomp, and then went for a middle rope stomp and missed. Roman hit two spears and the referee still wasn't up. He hit one more and the ref crawled over and counted the pin.

Winner: Roman Reigns

They fist bumped and Seth walked out like he got some answers.
