Garrett Gonzales and Paul Fontaine rank the most important stories in wrestling this week, and neither knows the other's list ahead of time. This week's topics include whether Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher for the AEW World Championship at Full Gear on November 14 in Phoenix is the right match, Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria on Raw, NXT's competition for AEW's Blood & Guts, scuttlebutt about Shawn Michaels taking over Bruce Prichard's role in WWE, and WWE Crown Jewel's venue change.
On the AEW side, Fletcher issued the Full Gear challenge on Dynamite after beating Jack Perry, reminding everyone he beat Ospreay at Full Gear 2024. The guys weigh that history, including Ospreay's steel cage win at Revolution, and whether Fletcher is the right challenger for the champion, with both men also in the Blood & Guts match on November 4.
On Raw, Bayley tapped out Lyra Valkyria in a no disqualification match for her first singles win since April, and the guys look at what that means for a feud that has been running all year.
With The CW's midterm election coverage pushing NXT off its usual Tuesday slot, WWE is putting a loaded NXT up against AEW's Dynamite: Blood & Guts on November 4 in Jacksonville, and they break down how both shows stack up and what viewers will do.
They also dig into the scuttlebutt around Shawn Michaels reportedly taking over Bruce Prichard's role as head of WWE's creative writing and talent, what that would mean for NXT, and how much of it is just a rumor. And they cover the news that WWE Crown Jewel is changing venues in Riyadh ahead of its November 7 date, and what the move says about WWE's plans in Saudi Arabia.
