Paul Fontaine and Garrett Gonzales dig into Will Ospreay defending the AEW World Championship in the first-ever Clockwork Carnage match at WrestleDream. On the surface, a gimmick match built around a timed scoring period feels like a weak way to headline a pay-per-view, and the guys don't shy away from that criticism. But they also make the case for the upside: if Ospreay's format actually works, Clockwork Carnage could become a fun gimmick match AEW can come back to again, giving the company a new tool for big shows.
