Kenny Omega vs Will Ospreay Fallout, Kyle Fletcher vs Bandido Set, AEW Ticket Sales Debate | The Dynamite Show

Paul Fontaine and Jeff Hawkins kick off the show discussing why AEW isn't selling more tickets to recent shows and whether the company is really as hot as people assume. Then they break down a card that seemed to come together last minute but delivered one of the longest overruns in company history. Kyle Fletcher retained his International Championship over Komander, setting up a PPV title defense against Bandido. Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay set the table for their All In main event while also introducing Kevin Knight as a title challenger for Redemption. Cope and Cage defended the tag titles against Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta in a match that ended in a brawl involving the Dogs, more Death Riders, and the Bang Bang Gang. Mercedes teamed with the Divine Dominion to beat Willow Nightingale, Hyan, and Maya World in the main event, and the Brawling Birds declared for the AEW Women's World Tag Team titles.

00:00.531 --> 00:00.871
[SPEAKER_01]: Dino!

00:18.262 --> 00:19.202
[SPEAKER_00]: What?

00:19.242 --> 00:21.223
[SPEAKER_00]: 34 minutes after Dynamite was supposed to end.

00:22.123 --> 00:24.764
[SPEAKER_00]: 11 minutes actually after it actually did end.

00:25.545 --> 00:26.885
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll get more into that later.

00:27.585 --> 00:28.706
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's get into that now.

00:28.806 --> 00:29.246
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

00:29.286 --> 00:30.526
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, thanks.

00:30.566 --> 00:33.527
[SPEAKER_00]: I just want to say thanks to everyone on three audio feed who to them.

00:33.587 --> 00:34.908
[SPEAKER_00]: It's no different than any other time.

00:36.208 --> 00:42.691
[SPEAKER_00]: Greg in the chat says he completely gasped when it was 59 minutes past the hour and they

00:47.247 --> 00:48.007
[SPEAKER_00]: The floor is yours.

00:48.428 --> 00:48.848
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

00:48.928 --> 00:49.668
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, okay.

00:49.708 --> 00:51.369
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll get to my real point in a moment.

00:51.389 --> 00:56.452
[SPEAKER_01]: But Tony is definitely going from the school of five guys.

00:56.472 --> 01:02.014
[SPEAKER_01]: If you've been to five guys, Paul, the Brown maybe twice here in the States.

01:02.535 --> 01:02.775
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

01:02.895 --> 01:12.640
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, five guys does something when you order fries and that they give you the cupful of fries that you've ordered and then they put an extra scoop of fries in there.

01:14.602 --> 01:22.269
[SPEAKER_01]: as a customer service type thing and so mentally you think you're actually getting more than you actually ordered type of thing.

01:22.389 --> 01:30.476
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a very slick thing and I think now Tony has gone all in because here's the thing, the feedback he's getting.

01:31.497 --> 01:37.058
[SPEAKER_01]: is from message board types and I'm almost positive he's spying on the wrestling observer message board.

01:37.158 --> 01:38.879
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, oh, no, he's he's a member.

01:38.979 --> 01:39.919
[SPEAKER_00]: He's like he can.

01:39.979 --> 01:44.780
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, but I know he's a member, but I don't I don't think he's actually on the board sometimes.

01:44.860 --> 01:47.301
[SPEAKER_00]: No, he probably has a burner account, but yeah.

01:47.321 --> 01:48.241
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm thinking.

01:48.541 --> 01:48.721
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

01:48.981 --> 01:55.483
[SPEAKER_01]: And he's seeing everybody is like, you know, all these single no girlfriend or wife having people.

01:56.711 --> 01:58.412
[SPEAKER_01]: And I say, that's lovingly this time.

01:58.573 --> 02:00.174
[SPEAKER_01]: I know what you mean, derivatively.

02:00.734 --> 02:03.717
[SPEAKER_01]: Say, hey, we like the bangers, we like the matches.

02:04.517 --> 02:06.279
[SPEAKER_01]: It's great that they're giving us the extra.

02:06.439 --> 02:09.461
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the customer service he wants to get to.

02:10.042 --> 02:12.644
[SPEAKER_01]: And actually, that actually does now lead to my bigger ramp.

02:12.664 --> 02:22.472
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the thing is, though, OK, you ordered a fries in a burger, and he threw in, like, I don't know, like a, uh, aneen rings or something.

02:22.833 --> 02:25.282
[SPEAKER_00]: like I because I don't know what the hell that Darby match was.

02:25.322 --> 02:26.346
[SPEAKER_00]: That wasn't even announced.

02:26.728 --> 02:27.390
[SPEAKER_00]: That's true.

02:27.772 --> 02:28.575
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know, like.

02:29.229 --> 02:30.690
[SPEAKER_00]: They could have started to mean their bent with.

02:30.770 --> 02:44.196
[SPEAKER_01]: There's actually a paranoid thing about that going on amongst fast food officials, you go to a restaurant and you get an order of fries and there's an onion ring and they're, are they doing that on purpose or you possibly order the onion rings next time?

02:44.776 --> 02:45.356
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh-huh.

02:45.596 --> 02:49.118
[SPEAKER_01]: I agree and I think it goes to a larger problem, Paul.

02:49.558 --> 02:50.919
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I'm going to a larger problem.

02:51.039 --> 02:53.540
[SPEAKER_01]: And I am going to sit everybody down here right now.

02:54.596 --> 02:59.218
[SPEAKER_01]: and I am going to say I am saying this lovingly.

02:59.758 --> 03:08.201
[SPEAKER_01]: I got railed on my other in my other neighborhood about how we should stop reviewing AEW because we both hate it.

03:08.621 --> 03:10.762
[SPEAKER_01]: And that is so far from the truth.

03:13.084 --> 03:25.053
[SPEAKER_01]: Paul went in basketball parlance, they say that it doesn't start being a series until the other team wins one on the other team's home court, correct.

03:27.075 --> 03:34.040
[SPEAKER_01]: And there was a bit of a talking point this week from the wrestling observer that A.W.

03:34.181 --> 03:36.382
[SPEAKER_01]: might have been more watched than

03:39.970 --> 03:57.596
[SPEAKER_01]: And it starts with okay, it's its best panel number ever and then the next sentence is we don't have any hard numbers and I went let's stop there then and that's do speculative news like we're a political station doing polling and going to end up being wrong or whatever.

03:58.393 --> 04:04.078
[SPEAKER_01]: But today there was a very interesting thread on blue ski, blue sky, whatever you want to call it.

04:04.198 --> 04:26.116
[SPEAKER_01]: I call it blue ski because it's derivative to me about AEW heels and how both Aubrey and Brody Lease wife have both Amanda or Amanda have have stopped support or being in charge of heels and they're still charging money, but they're refunding it and there's nothing planned, et cetera.

04:27.209 --> 04:35.412
[SPEAKER_01]: And I am of the opinion, and this isn't necessarily because I hate AEW.

04:36.572 --> 04:47.016
[SPEAKER_01]: I think AEW has lost a bit of hustle, and we just switched the world title and Alvarez brought this up on his show today.

04:47.256 --> 04:52.057
[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, we don't have a card for this show, and it's only a couple hours before I.

04:52.097 --> 04:53.158
[SPEAKER_01]: We have the Kenny.

04:54.422 --> 04:57.804
[SPEAKER_01]: you know, title thing where where we're going to have a promo.

04:58.165 --> 04:58.585
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

04:59.065 --> 04:59.546
[SPEAKER_01]: Great.

05:00.346 --> 05:05.890
[SPEAKER_01]: But WWE for being a big giant soulless corporate monolith.

05:07.511 --> 05:10.293
[SPEAKER_01]: Still plugs personal appearances on their raw show.

05:10.654 --> 05:15.837
[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, next week we're here, you can go meet so-and-so courtesy of cricket occasionally.

05:17.338 --> 05:19.400
[SPEAKER_01]: We still have them doing a lot of local media.

05:21.150 --> 05:33.943
[SPEAKER_01]: As you w for the most part, you have about 30 people on this roster who need to be working Indies to get better so that once the six or seven top-line people are gone, they can fill that in and they're not.

05:34.463 --> 05:35.244
[SPEAKER_01]: They are seven.

05:35.264 --> 05:36.885
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, there are people doing Indies.

05:36.986 --> 05:40.889
[SPEAKER_00]: I watched an Indies yesterday with, I think, five AEW towns on it.

05:41.510 --> 05:42.391
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, there are some.

05:42.411 --> 05:43.372
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying everybody.

05:44.034 --> 05:52.520
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know, Megan Bane grinds like, but yeah, but none of the people that were on this show are people that are going to be a big part of a W's future.

05:53.081 --> 05:53.421
[SPEAKER_01]: Correct.

05:53.761 --> 05:53.941
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

05:54.101 --> 05:54.262
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

05:54.622 --> 05:56.883
[SPEAKER_01]: Other than maybe Darby, maybe Kevin night.

05:57.404 --> 05:58.845
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and those guys aren't doing the Indies.

05:58.865 --> 06:00.406
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think other than Defi, maybe.

06:00.666 --> 06:04.769
[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm talking the the 30 or so people who don't get booked for these shows and are.

06:04.889 --> 06:05.750
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

06:06.090 --> 06:11.192
[SPEAKER_01]: We just resign the dark order and I don't think they have creative plans for them.

06:11.392 --> 06:20.436
[SPEAKER_01]: I think they resign them because Tony is a nice guy and I'm sure Tony is a nice guy in a great boss who takes care of his people and that's his thing in the market space.

06:22.056 --> 06:30.180
[SPEAKER_01]: But I want more of a cynical push for from this thing so that they can be number one.

06:30.500 --> 06:33.641
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think everybody's looking around going they have the best wrestling

06:35.316 --> 06:39.263
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, look, they had a good number this week when they switched the title.

06:40.425 --> 06:42.528
[SPEAKER_01]: That's all right, let's talk at the Alts Marquez.

06:42.549 --> 06:44.251
[SPEAKER_01]: What's Tony Khan's Hall of Fame case?

06:47.449 --> 06:53.993
[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, it's in a plan, I'm sorry, like, no, it will be eventually I'm sure, but he's still number two.

06:54.073 --> 06:56.374
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's stop crowning everybody right now.

06:56.574 --> 06:56.854
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

06:56.894 --> 06:57.014
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

06:57.054 --> 06:58.615
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's get back to the work man.

06:58.695 --> 07:00.976
[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, we had the video game that failed.

07:01.276 --> 07:03.798
[SPEAKER_01]: Their merchandising leaves a lot to be desired.

07:04.118 --> 07:06.499
[SPEAKER_01]: They don't bring enough merchandise to most shows.

07:06.979 --> 07:12.302
[SPEAKER_01]: And hey, this show in Boston was down from last year in terms of tickets.

07:12.362 --> 07:12.883
[SPEAKER_01]: A little bit.

07:12.943 --> 07:13.443
[SPEAKER_00]: A little bit.

07:13.723 --> 07:14.163
[SPEAKER_00]: a little.

07:14.563 --> 07:24.926
[SPEAKER_01]: And there's this weird narrative of WWE's ice cold and AEW's red hot because of the booking and the numbers don't say that in terms of people going there.

07:24.966 --> 07:28.447
[SPEAKER_01]: Now look, WWE's fault is they've overextended.

07:28.727 --> 07:34.768
[SPEAKER_01]: They have completely gone out of their damn mind doing a two-night summer slam and ticket prices.

07:35.229 --> 07:36.889
[SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't mean they're cold.

07:36.929 --> 07:39.430
[SPEAKER_01]: That means they are far too ambitious

07:41.345 --> 07:43.826
[SPEAKER_00]: and they're not as hot as they were two years ago.

07:44.646 --> 07:45.647
[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's fair.

07:45.807 --> 07:46.687
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's fine.

07:47.207 --> 07:47.907
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

07:48.808 --> 07:59.651
[SPEAKER_01]: If a W. Whereas hottest people are telling you it is online and in this certain bubble of criticism where Tony does his show and listens to a wrestling observer radio the next morning.

08:00.012 --> 08:01.772
[SPEAKER_01]: And here's what a great show he's done.

08:03.733 --> 08:06.834
[SPEAKER_01]: And that Dave goes, I don't understand why the people aren't coming.

08:08.443 --> 08:08.703
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe.

08:08.723 --> 08:09.464
[SPEAKER_01]: Where's the goodwill?

08:09.524 --> 08:10.985
[SPEAKER_01]: Where's the retail policy?

08:11.005 --> 08:11.245
[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe.

08:11.306 --> 08:12.807
[SPEAKER_01]: He'd reach, they used to have.

08:12.907 --> 08:20.253
[SPEAKER_01]: Where's the heels doing, a, a, w heels doing things for that female base that they were trying to cultivate.

08:20.553 --> 08:22.215
[SPEAKER_01]: They're not doing that anymore.

08:22.275 --> 08:23.816
[SPEAKER_01]: And that leads into that, too.

08:23.956 --> 08:25.958
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just, I want them to do more to be honest.

08:25.978 --> 08:28.120
[SPEAKER_00]: I've got, I got like a simpler thing that's more to do with the product on the screen.

08:28.140 --> 08:34.946
[SPEAKER_00]: So if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if

08:36.509 --> 08:49.705
[SPEAKER_00]: So you're wondering why aren't more people buying tickets to the shows right and why and you when you look at WWE like even though they're down, they're still selling, you know, at least double the tickets that AW selling and in a lot of cases triple.

08:51.307 --> 08:52.249
[SPEAKER_00]: At higher ticket prices.

08:53.395 --> 08:56.556
[SPEAKER_00]: The problem is, K&AW, what's the name of the company?

08:56.616 --> 08:57.657
[SPEAKER_00]: What is AEW stand for?

08:58.277 --> 08:59.378
[SPEAKER_01]: All elite wrestling.

08:59.698 --> 08:59.898
[SPEAKER_00]: Right.

09:00.298 --> 09:02.499
[SPEAKER_00]: And they will tell you this is where the best wrestle.

09:03.059 --> 09:10.663
[SPEAKER_00]: And a lot of the excuses that you get when you say, well, why do why does John Watson will ask, right?

09:10.683 --> 09:14.624
[SPEAKER_00]: Why are they going 15 minutes toe to toe back to back with the swirl?

09:15.185 --> 09:22.008
[SPEAKER_00]: And then the thoughts you get is, well, you see, because the swirl are in all elite wrestling, they're elite.

09:22.748 --> 09:29.171
[SPEAKER_00]: And it shouldn't be that easy to beat them, so by going 50 minutes, you're proving that it's not an easy win.

09:29.391 --> 09:30.491
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, that's fine.

09:31.051 --> 09:34.533
[SPEAKER_00]: But you know what you end up with then if everyone is elite.

09:35.323 --> 09:36.544
[SPEAKER_00]: then no one is elite.

09:37.924 --> 09:44.167
[SPEAKER_00]: And the difference in WWE is they have stars who are clearly better than the other people on the show.

09:44.708 --> 09:47.309
[SPEAKER_00]: And those people are over for the most part.

09:47.429 --> 09:54.893
[SPEAKER_00]: Occasionally they pick someone who doesn't isn't as over as they want them to be, but they push them usually until they get over.

09:55.393 --> 10:19.367
[SPEAKER_00]: Whereas in a video they fail and they go back down and sometimes they can work their way back Yeah, sometimes they can and some people get more chances than others but in a w it's like we want to make everyone a star and the thing is they all are good wrestlers they all can have great matches you can put commander who hasn't been on TV in I don't know how long and I know why he hasn't been on TV but that doesn't mean anything to the viewer

10:20.387 --> 10:32.471
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, yeah, okay, he's at Visa problems and he hasn't been able to get in the country, but you know what all the fans know is he hasn't been here and all the sudden he comes in and he's having a kick ass match with Kyle Fletcher.

10:32.971 --> 10:41.354
[SPEAKER_00]: Does that, does that bring Commander up to Kyle Fletcher's level or does it bring Kyle Fletcher down to Commander's level or is it something in between?

10:42.334 --> 10:57.771
[SPEAKER_00]: And the thing is, is Kyle Fletcher's upward progress as a superstar that people see as larger than life as the face of the company, is it, is it not able to get there because he's having this kick-ass match with Commander?

10:58.031 --> 10:58.732
[SPEAKER_00]: And don't get me wrong.

10:58.952 --> 11:01.835
[SPEAKER_00]: Dave Meltzer's going to give it four and a half stars minimum.

11:01.996 --> 11:02.957
[SPEAKER_00]: It might even get five.

11:03.759 --> 11:07.642
[SPEAKER_00]: And, and they're going to go on the paper view and whoever he wrestles, it looks like it's going to be banned.

11:07.662 --> 11:09.064
[SPEAKER_00]: Dito, that's going to get five stars.

11:09.444 --> 11:12.106
[SPEAKER_00]: And every freaking match on that show is going to be awesome.

11:12.446 --> 11:15.849
[SPEAKER_00]: People are going to say ahead of time, oh, there's nothing to the any of these matches.

11:15.889 --> 11:17.010
[SPEAKER_00]: There's no storyline.

11:17.691 --> 11:18.852
[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone knows Kenny's going to win.

11:18.892 --> 11:23.396
[SPEAKER_00]: And then when the show is over, Brian Alvers is going to go on the show and say it was the best show he's ever seen.

11:23.456 --> 11:25.798
[SPEAKER_00]: Dave Meltzer is going to give it every match five stars.

11:26.338 --> 11:29.401
[SPEAKER_00]: And then a week later, they're going to sell 2500 tickets to Dynamite.

11:32.552 --> 11:45.597
[SPEAKER_00]: right to the point that they should be will offspring in England will be can you make an England will be and you know what that show is going to sell 40,000 tickets probably because you're building a big match for that big show.

11:47.058 --> 11:55.942
[SPEAKER_01]: There was a squash match on this show and I would have rather had Kyle Fletcher squash errand solo

12:01.568 --> 12:02.188
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry.

12:02.269 --> 12:02.609
[SPEAKER_01]: He is.

12:02.689 --> 12:05.591
[SPEAKER_01]: I understand they did an angle afterwards in what not.

12:05.631 --> 12:06.531
[SPEAKER_01]: That was fine.

12:07.172 --> 12:07.312
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

12:07.552 --> 12:15.017
[SPEAKER_01]: But the guy who could be the guy is Kyle Fletcher and I'd like commander and it was a good match.

12:15.337 --> 12:24.383
[SPEAKER_01]: And people will put down their three and a half four stars in their notebook and they'll be in consideration for number 75 on their top 100 matches of the year.

12:24.783 --> 12:27.285
[SPEAKER_01]: I get that, but that doesn't make either them over.

12:28.165 --> 12:29.205
[SPEAKER_01]: and I'm with you on that.

12:29.225 --> 12:31.786
[SPEAKER_01]: That is where I come from when I'm doing this.

12:31.926 --> 12:41.469
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, like, they're having this discussion on the board about, you know, about the people over 40 that the WWE is pushing and all this other something go.

12:41.749 --> 12:45.070
[SPEAKER_01]: And someone said, you know, Oba Femi has a ceiling.

12:46.010 --> 12:58.138
[SPEAKER_01]: And, and Braun Breaker is dead, after that, I'm like, number one, no, number two, over Febby doesn't have a ceiling because you don't think he's a good wrestler.

12:58.638 --> 13:04.082
[SPEAKER_01]: He has more name recognition now than most AEW because of how they've pushed him.

13:04.662 --> 13:11.107
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I just better than most of the guys that are on top now were at the same stage of their career.

13:11.167 --> 13:18.411
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it's the entirety of the product and there are tools to get you there.

13:18.892 --> 13:33.402
[SPEAKER_01]: It's one of those things where it's like when people say great technical wrestling match, and I go, okay, technical wrestling is a style that's a tool to be shown during the match, but it's the actual drama and stuff of the match that gets you all right.

13:34.082 --> 13:42.952
[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, if Vader comes in and punches at Xavier Jr. in the face, he's gonna be more over, even though he's not as good of a technical wrestler.

13:43.412 --> 13:45.114
[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm a little...

13:46.232 --> 14:07.570
[SPEAKER_01]: This week was just something where I'm just like going okay, but you have a paper view next week and now it looks like it's kind of a late duck paper view already unless we get something amazing put on there we're not good like I mean, you know, like we've, they've been there starting to announce matches now and they're all going to be great matches don't get me wrong.

14:07.610 --> 14:09.331
[SPEAKER_00]: If you want great matches.

14:10.332 --> 14:36.362
[SPEAKER_00]: as you get ready for a month later when the real paper is going to happen and you're going to actually get great matches that are also important then you know hey by the show you enjoy it have have a great time you know and I'm I'm going to get it because I have my w but I wouldn't be paying fifty dollars since paper view no because because it's it's a lame duck paper view like you said I mean they're practically telling you that they're not even advertising if canyomega still has the belt

14:36.942 --> 14:40.946
[SPEAKER_00]: You're advertising can you make versus will offspring like I mean that's it.

14:41.386 --> 14:58.823
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean that's WWS right there is it but when they did the B paper views and it was just like yeah, but remember from WrestleMania this thing they might as well have just done a tag match with Omega and Osprey against you know like two members of Cal Family or something as the main event was made for you it'd be awesome too.

14:59.504 --> 15:03.808
[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, I, I Tony probably wants to give them a lot of fans a world tile match and, and that's fine.

15:03.828 --> 15:04.469
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm glad it is.

15:05.009 --> 15:08.012
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and, and we're getting tecla and willow is another world title match.

15:08.213 --> 15:10.895
[SPEAKER_00]: This would have been the time to maybe mean event to show with a women's match.

15:11.276 --> 15:14.218
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, but I guess he's probably going to want to mean event with Kenny because he's from Canada.

15:14.719 --> 15:15.199
[SPEAKER_00]: Even though.

15:16.180 --> 15:17.060
[SPEAKER_00]: dirty little secret.

15:17.520 --> 15:21.661
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if there's any Canadians in the chat here, but Montreal might as well be a different country.

15:22.061 --> 15:27.783
[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's not, it's saying canyomegas from Canada in Montreal means nothing.

15:27.963 --> 15:31.284
[SPEAKER_00]: Like Bailey would mean something, but but canyomegas doesn't.

15:31.544 --> 15:36.865
[SPEAKER_00]: Like he means something because he's he's canyomega, but he means no more in Montreal than he wouldn't Boston.

15:37.385 --> 15:40.526
[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's, they don't claim as their hometown's son.

15:40.826 --> 15:41.766
[SPEAKER_00]: That would be like saying,

15:42.446 --> 15:48.369
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you know, uh, hang and page in L.A. is the hometown son because he's for Virginia.

15:48.690 --> 15:49.270
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I get true.

15:49.610 --> 15:49.850
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

15:49.870 --> 15:50.030
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

15:50.691 --> 15:55.533
[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, it was like, and again, I don't want to like, shit on this show, like it was, you know, I, I'd find watching it.

15:55.914 --> 15:58.815
[SPEAKER_00]: The fun thing was never for some really good things that they did.

15:58.935 --> 16:00.136
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that promo segment.

16:00.396 --> 16:00.696
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

16:00.736 --> 16:03.578
[SPEAKER_00]: So I wrote down 1,400 words on that promo segment.

16:03.598 --> 16:04.738
[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll get to it when we get to it.

16:05.379 --> 16:10.181
[SPEAKER_00]: And I, I made that comment in the discord and then someone says, Oh, I bet you your first comment was it's too long, but it was great.

16:11.682 --> 16:30.992
[SPEAKER_00]: I said, I'm not going to say it's too long because I would rather have a long promo segment that's good that builds up important matches than have then if you would have taken 10 minutes out of that segment and instead of having Brodito to a squash match, you had Brodito wrestle 10 minutes with the swirl.

16:32.321 --> 16:41.902
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and they could have easily done that and and they have done that and I would rather have 10 minutes of great promos than a 10 minute squash match.

16:42.398 --> 16:47.720
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you right like so yeah, I'm all about promos baby.

16:47.740 --> 16:51.421
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and if they're good and then and this one was pretty good for the most part.

16:51.441 --> 16:54.262
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll even take bad promos if you're trying something.

16:54.302 --> 17:07.446
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, that's what I want to see a little bit of an and then something you get short promos that are bad and I don't want to see those either like hey, I don't know what the hell that moxley thing was at the end there, but I mean I did I kind of don't

17:08.206 --> 17:21.650
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, well, you didn't explain it to me and we get to it and yeah, so and we're going to talk a bit more about this, you know, we do our cheap plugs at the end normally, but I will say it right now as well you and I are going to be on, you know, God willing.

17:30.152 --> 17:33.733
[SPEAKER_00]: is a W as hot as everyone claims it is.

17:33.953 --> 17:35.274
[SPEAKER_00]: And if not, why?

17:35.334 --> 17:37.334
[SPEAKER_00]: And if so, why aren't they selling tickets?

17:37.774 --> 17:39.955
[SPEAKER_00]: So we will some of this will come up again.

17:39.995 --> 17:40.855
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure tomorrow.

17:40.955 --> 17:42.876
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I'm going to probably repeat this entire rant.

17:43.176 --> 17:43.516
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay.

17:43.536 --> 17:46.277
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I will modify it a little bit.

17:46.337 --> 17:47.537
[SPEAKER_00]: Part of the thing was, okay.

17:47.797 --> 17:54.519
[SPEAKER_00]: So when if the discussion point is, and you mentioned it, oh, almost for sure, more people watch

17:59.258 --> 18:18.067
[SPEAKER_00]: Part of the reason that I don't even really listen to it is because Dave Meltzer looks at the numbers that Nielsen reports, and they are 2.5 million was the last one we got, which was June 5th, July 5th, sorry.

18:19.452 --> 18:33.583
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, 2.5 million global views and he extrapolates that to and I don't know how the exact number in front of me, but I'll say 750,000 viewers for a and then he will take the.

18:34.283 --> 18:47.071
[SPEAKER_00]: Big data plus panel number of 676,000 for dynamite and he will say, well, the panel number is probably going to be about 800,000 plus you've got the people watching on max.

18:47.392 --> 18:53.115
[SPEAKER_00]: So it almost certainly, you know, did more than than, okay, fine, put that all the way.

18:54.096 --> 19:06.043
[SPEAKER_00]: he takes the 2.5 million global views that Netflix reports and extrapolates that using his own formula that he's designed and he's very confident in to say that raw did 750,000 viewers or whatever he's saying.

19:07.004 --> 19:20.452
[SPEAKER_00]: Brandon Thurston who does detailed work as well and studies this as hard if not harder than Dave his estimate for the raw viewership off of that same 2.5 million number is 1.5 million.

19:23.878 --> 19:24.158
[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.

19:24.759 --> 19:25.080
[SPEAKER_00]: Double.

19:25.680 --> 19:26.281
[SPEAKER_00]: What Dave says?

19:26.782 --> 19:27.042
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

19:27.463 --> 19:28.704
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying Brandon's right.

19:28.864 --> 19:30.086
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying David's right.

19:30.106 --> 19:31.187
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know who's right.

19:31.628 --> 19:33.671
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's the problem because you're comparing

19:34.412 --> 19:36.053
[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm comparing apples to oranges?

19:36.093 --> 19:37.853
[SPEAKER_00]: You're comparing apples to french fries.

19:38.254 --> 19:46.677
[SPEAKER_00]: Like these are like completely different numbers that mean completely different things and you can try to analyze it and try to compare it.

19:47.057 --> 19:55.360
[SPEAKER_00]: But you can't, because unless you have two things, both on cable television, you can't compare the numbers to each other.

19:55.600 --> 20:02.223
[SPEAKER_00]: The only thing you can compare right now is SmackDown, which is undoubtedly WWE's B show.

20:03.315 --> 20:07.516
[SPEAKER_00]: to, um, it's supposed to be an issue, but it is, I mean, it's one.

20:07.596 --> 20:08.437
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a B show.

20:08.497 --> 20:09.937
[SPEAKER_01]: I think everybody knows that it is.

20:09.977 --> 20:13.558
[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's a, they, they do have a talent.

20:13.578 --> 20:16.099
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're that can drive a rating.

20:16.219 --> 20:22.481
[SPEAKER_00]: So if you have, if you have, if you have WWE fans that are only going to watch one show, it's mostly going to be raw.

20:22.821 --> 20:23.021
[SPEAKER_00]: Right.

20:23.141 --> 20:23.361
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

20:23.641 --> 20:31.824
[SPEAKER_00]: And that show is drawing right now almost double what Dynamite is every week, both in the overall viewers and

20:32.824 --> 20:36.546
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, those are both on cable television and those are both using big data plus panel.

20:36.846 --> 20:38.407
[SPEAKER_00]: So you can compare those numbers.

20:38.907 --> 20:43.590
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, if that many people are watching smack down, you're telling me that

20:44.656 --> 21:02.184
[SPEAKER_00]: Two thirds of the people that watch SmackDown are watching WWE's B show or A show I should say to like two a third more are watching the B show than watching the A show I don't I don't I don't believe that I just know I don't know Brandon's numbers are right but Brandon's numbers feel more right

21:03.174 --> 21:08.738
[SPEAKER_00]: So, and that's it, and Jeff, why should we care about the analytics of wrestling shows?

21:08.778 --> 21:10.699
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's just because it's a talking point.

21:10.779 --> 21:14.242
[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, Dave loves the horse race of it.

21:14.342 --> 21:18.385
[SPEAKER_01]: And I, I just, I get like when they were doing the thing about the demo.

21:18.905 --> 21:23.927
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, you know, they, you know, AEW lost in the numbers, but they won the demo.

21:23.967 --> 21:26.207
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the important thing about getting advertising.

21:26.227 --> 21:27.268
[SPEAKER_01]: And now it's going the other way.

21:27.368 --> 21:28.568
[SPEAKER_01]: No, yes, yes.

21:28.868 --> 21:29.388
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

21:29.428 --> 21:30.309
[SPEAKER_01]: That's the other way.

21:30.369 --> 21:32.209
[SPEAKER_01]: And you're just like, now it could be.

21:32.569 --> 21:38.031
[SPEAKER_01]: Or, or would, you know, people, people want to be outside with that extra hour of daylight.

21:38.351 --> 21:40.613
[SPEAKER_01]: Or, oh, the world cup was odd.

21:40.713 --> 21:43.995
[SPEAKER_01]: I go, yeah, you can have an excuse every week if you want to.

21:44.155 --> 21:47.497
[SPEAKER_01]: I just know the numbers and those are the, and I want the numbers.

21:47.597 --> 21:52.040
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want these could be the numbers and you can base it on that, so it's fine.

21:52.280 --> 21:54.181
[SPEAKER_01]: I, let's get to the show, please.

21:54.361 --> 21:55.682
[SPEAKER_00]: All right, okay, so this show.

21:56.062 --> 21:58.103
[SPEAKER_00]: You mentioned that they were down from last year.

21:58.164 --> 22:06.469
[SPEAKER_00]: So last year they did 36,000, or this year, they did 36 last year in the same building around the same time as April.

22:07.394 --> 22:09.115
[SPEAKER_00]: They did 3,181.

22:09.675 --> 22:12.696
[SPEAKER_00]: So they're down, folks, 175 pounds.

22:13.196 --> 22:18.678
[SPEAKER_00]: Now to be fair, SmackDown was down 3,000.

22:18.778 --> 22:24.340
[SPEAKER_00]: They were down from 9900 to like 6,700 this past week in Oklahoma.

22:24.400 --> 22:28.481
[SPEAKER_00]: So, they are down more than a W, like with ticket sales.

22:30.121 --> 22:33.422
[SPEAKER_00]: But still, they sold 6700 tickets and dynamite sold 3,000.

22:33.603 --> 22:34.483
[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, whatever.

22:35.786 --> 22:36.808
[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, Dynamo is a better show.

22:36.948 --> 22:37.449
[SPEAKER_00]: No question.

22:38.211 --> 22:40.175
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, they open with a recap of last week's show.

22:40.315 --> 22:40.836
[SPEAKER_00]: That was good.

22:40.996 --> 22:42.640
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, yes, that's happened last week.

22:42.700 --> 22:43.241
[SPEAKER_00]: I liked that.

22:43.381 --> 22:45.706
[SPEAKER_00]: And they had a lot of video packages on this show and good.

22:45.766 --> 22:45.987
[SPEAKER_00]: Good.

22:46.247 --> 22:46.408
[SPEAKER_00]: Good.

22:47.639 --> 22:50.242
[SPEAKER_00]: Earlier today, we got segment with the death writers.

22:50.282 --> 23:01.172
[SPEAKER_00]: They showed Will Osprey punch in the shit out of something He's doing that handle punch, eh, like On the ground and Garcia tells him the work is just beginning.

23:01.212 --> 23:05.916
[SPEAKER_00]: You got to want it and And then and then John Moxie walks in.

23:06.617 --> 23:06.937
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry.

23:07.158 --> 23:09.940
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry who told the Will Osprey that Daniel Garcia?

23:10.301 --> 23:10.801
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, sure

23:11.155 --> 23:16.818
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, so Moxley says quit playing grab ass, don't let them off the hook.

23:17.519 --> 23:19.179
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care what Hall of Fame so guys.

23:19.199 --> 23:22.781
[SPEAKER_00]: But now he's talking to a we learned Garcia because they got a texting title match here.

23:23.242 --> 23:27.024
[SPEAKER_00]: Says I don't care what Hall of Fame they belong to work harder than them.

23:27.424 --> 23:28.665
[SPEAKER_00]: And then he sends them off on their way.

23:29.245 --> 23:30.286
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, he gets to Osprey.

23:30.346 --> 23:31.266
[SPEAKER_00]: He says, all right.

23:31.306 --> 23:33.567
[SPEAKER_00]: Will most of the hard work is done now.

23:33.948 --> 23:34.828
[SPEAKER_00]: You won the tournament.

23:34.868 --> 23:35.729
[SPEAKER_00]: You're next strong.

23:36.429 --> 23:38.010
[SPEAKER_00]: Last few steps are critical ones.

23:38.250 --> 23:39.531
[SPEAKER_00]: Mistakes cost everything.

23:40.351 --> 23:42.252
[SPEAKER_00]: People make simple things so complicated.

23:42.873 --> 23:45.615
[SPEAKER_00]: You got to get all the way to the end so you can see this finish line.

23:45.915 --> 23:50.338
[SPEAKER_00]: You got that rapid heartbeat, sweat, dry mouth, but then they hesitate.

23:51.219 --> 23:53.040
[SPEAKER_00]: And remember, you are in this, you are in this.

23:53.540 --> 23:56.182
[SPEAKER_00]: There will come a time in your life when you have to make a hard decision.

23:56.623 --> 23:57.643
[SPEAKER_00]: This isn't a hard decision.

23:57.703 --> 23:58.324
[SPEAKER_00]: This is simple.

23:58.824 --> 24:00.846
[SPEAKER_00]: When you get your shot, don't hesitate.

24:01.266 --> 24:01.906
[SPEAKER_00]: Pull the trigger

24:04.703 --> 24:12.486
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I just watched this criminal mind and on Disney plus, I don't know where we're also there's in the States, but we get in a Disney plus here.

24:13.167 --> 24:20.249
[SPEAKER_00]: And there was a show where like, they take the shot, take the shot, take the shot, they're doing these training exercises for people in the FBI.

24:20.710 --> 24:26.212
[SPEAKER_00]: And this guy took the shot and the gun that he thought had a blank had a real bullet and he killed his training officer.

24:26.692 --> 24:30.076
[SPEAKER_00]: I was thinking about that scene when he's take the shot take the shot.

24:30.096 --> 24:37.183
[SPEAKER_00]: It was like crazy But anyways, he says no matter who the target is So obviously he's talking about Omega and then he pat him on the back.

24:37.604 --> 24:40.487
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, but he's also talking about himself eventually.

24:40.587 --> 24:43.170
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, and eventually might not be that far away

24:43.310 --> 24:58.189
[SPEAKER_01]: This is, I mean, look, I've, I've railed on this a little bit because he can sometimes be ridiculous, but this week, Moxley was full on Boatie in point break and it even bleeds over to the Omega promo later.

24:58.249 --> 24:59.831
[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, no, I liked this.

24:59.951 --> 25:00.632
[SPEAKER_01]: I really did.

25:01.213 --> 25:15.780
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, now then these baby faces switched over to heels because we got Adam Copeland and Brian Cage, Christian Cage versus Daniel Garcia and Will are you for the AW tag team titles.

25:16.470 --> 25:38.877
[SPEAKER_00]: what did we learn you to do to just to earn the tag team tells I don't know they hang out with the dogs I guess but uh anyways they had a match and I get to be a good match fall they had a okay match all right good little bit of a stretch but anyways fans were super hot tonight um they the the fans are were there they loved it um they were chettin fuck you

25:41.357 --> 25:57.103
[SPEAKER_00]: death crimes were in controller early the isolated cope the rest of through a break and cope is still in the ring Eventually cage made a hot tag and fans were really getting him beaten on you to Christian did a diving head but from the top rope for two I don't know if I've ever seen that from him before

25:57.961 --> 26:01.965
[SPEAKER_00]: Eventually all of the guys were in coping cage to come down with close lines.

26:02.365 --> 26:19.920
[SPEAKER_00]: They had this weird spot Where Christian was trying to take off the turn buckle the ref gets distracted And he stops him for doing it and then you got the sense that Christian was gonna low blow wheeler while the ref was down because he's a he's a you know He's a baby face, but he's really a heel and but he didn't do anything

26:20.580 --> 26:37.874
[SPEAKER_00]: And then you'd end up hitting a German, Christian biting his head, Garcia cross Christian on the ropes, then they went to do running close lines in the corner, you know, the thing that rock you're a mayor or used likes to do a new Japan, they were doing here, and then they do the jumping around celebrating like they're a rugby team.

26:38.735 --> 26:57.954
[SPEAKER_00]: And then Wheeler just did the exact same spot that Christian had done early with the turn buckle, and then the Reth went to stop him, and at that point Christian low-blow Garcia, and then Wheeler comes away from the turn buckle, Christian tosses him in the air, Copeland hit him with his spear and mid-air, which was kind of cool, and then Christian pinned him.

26:58.534 --> 26:59.395
[SPEAKER_00]: It was a weird match.

26:59.415 --> 27:02.718
[SPEAKER_00]: I almost think that like that turnbuckle spot like a fucked up or something.

27:03.018 --> 27:04.680
[SPEAKER_01]: I think it might have that.

27:04.780 --> 27:06.021
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it was weird.

27:06.101 --> 27:08.183
[SPEAKER_00]: But um, it was, I mean, it was fun.

27:08.383 --> 27:14.009
[SPEAKER_00]: It was definitive and yeah, and John Moxley's uh, Javra Boyz lost.

27:15.400 --> 27:17.621
[SPEAKER_01]: the AEW karaoke party.

27:17.941 --> 27:19.582
[SPEAKER_01]: I am I've turned heel on.

27:19.742 --> 27:31.887
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just I get that we're doing this for Copeland now, but you know, oh, I fast forward to that five minutes of of of in of the entrances that I fast forwarded.

27:32.807 --> 27:40.452
[SPEAKER_01]: Taz had some lines tonight that slayed me like him saying I wrote down to you But he hated the circle spot with it.

27:40.953 --> 27:45.616
[SPEAKER_01]: I can't stand that Yeah, it is kind of good.

27:45.656 --> 27:54.422
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I do like the coping Christian dynamic but mostly for Christian I I forget how much I enjoy watching Christian actually do a match sometimes

27:55.042 --> 28:10.540
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, he's I mean he's fun like I like the the guy that's you know the grizzled vet that's that's you know, he's he's playing a baby face, but he really is a heel and the fans are into them so it works he's kind of you know it's a weird comparison, but it reminds me of Dick Murdock.

28:14.467 --> 28:16.150
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's older days or whatever.

28:16.190 --> 28:21.037
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, like, you know, like eight, like mid to late 80's WCW.

28:21.078 --> 28:26.987
[SPEAKER_01]: Captain Redneck, yeah, yeah, I can see that I would actually, and this will be kind of up.

28:28.361 --> 28:35.446
[SPEAKER_01]: point I'd like to see more personality out of you to and Garcia as separate entities within the deathwriters interview.

28:35.466 --> 28:37.347
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Garcia is starting to do the annoying.

28:37.427 --> 28:38.368
[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't be kidding.

28:38.388 --> 28:39.228
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's fine.

28:39.368 --> 28:43.551
[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, cutting promos on their own occasionally, you know, with Renee or something to that.

28:43.591 --> 28:45.252
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it was was for a while.

28:45.272 --> 28:47.674
[SPEAKER_00]: And then when you guys haircut, he hasn't really done much since then.

28:47.734 --> 28:50.255
[SPEAKER_01]: And then they know that that still pisses me off.

28:50.375 --> 28:50.776
[SPEAKER_01]: I know.

28:50.976 --> 28:53.337
[SPEAKER_01]: They do that step and they never paid it off.

28:53.377 --> 28:54.318
[SPEAKER_01]: So screw that.

28:54.378 --> 28:55.038
[SPEAKER_01]: No.

28:56.139 --> 28:57.999
[SPEAKER_00]: And now we're going to get to the confusing gas.

28:58.019 --> 29:01.940
[SPEAKER_00]: So after the match, they showed the bucks in the crowd and they're cheering.

29:02.700 --> 29:05.781
[SPEAKER_00]: And the announcers were pointing out that they go on one a title match.

29:06.541 --> 29:11.882
[SPEAKER_00]: And Christian was staring at his belt and they get attacked by the dogs and Claudio.

29:12.482 --> 29:15.883
[SPEAKER_00]: So now it's five on two, you know, against the baby faces.

29:16.243 --> 29:17.763
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm wondering where the hell are the bucks?

29:18.144 --> 29:19.564
[SPEAKER_00]: They were just watching this match.

29:20.064 --> 29:21.984
[SPEAKER_00]: Although they were in the in the balconies.

29:22.004 --> 29:24.525
[SPEAKER_00]: So it would have taken them a bit of time to get down there, but they never

29:25.928 --> 29:48.435
[SPEAKER_00]: uh... but eventually the bang bang makes a save so uh... turned into a big brawl and the big and they actually the big pieces had the numbers so they you know they cleared the rain coping cage were still lying down in the mat finley had a shellily uh... j white took it away from them pretended to hit him finley took a powder and escape the ring uh... and went with congress to the crowd

29:49.315 --> 29:49.615
[SPEAKER_00]: Then J.

29:50.036 --> 29:52.658
[SPEAKER_00]: White stared a Christian cage, still holding the Shalaylee.

29:53.458 --> 29:56.821
[SPEAKER_00]: Cope got in the middle of them and then White just handed it to Cope.

29:56.901 --> 29:58.202
[SPEAKER_00]: The fans are chanting, hug it out.

29:58.762 --> 29:58.942
[SPEAKER_00]: J.

29:58.982 --> 30:01.004
[SPEAKER_00]: White's playing air guitar with the Shalaylee.

30:01.704 --> 30:03.706
[SPEAKER_00]: The rest of Bang Bang gang got back in the ring.

30:04.606 --> 30:25.543
[SPEAKER_00]: Or a cop gave back the guitar the stick and then he white was playing air guitar with him F barely was screaming out of him from the crowd asking to give it back and then coping cage is left with their belts and I was like What the hell was all this like what we're just leading we got a paper view in ten days and are Coping cage defending the belts in Canada.

30:26.184 --> 30:29.026
[SPEAKER_00]: I I assume so, but who I don't know?

30:29.827 --> 30:33.390
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm thinking it's been a lovely see I was thinking maybe Claudio and pack

30:35.233 --> 30:35.894
[SPEAKER_01]: I can go with that.

30:36.334 --> 30:36.834
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, good.

30:37.335 --> 30:50.946
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I do need, we need to line a de-markation because we had Claudio in there with the dogs and and the young boys of the of the deathwriters.

30:51.326 --> 30:59.293
[SPEAKER_01]: And then later we had Claudio and Mox together backing Osprey and the baby faces and the bucks and stuff.

30:59.473 --> 31:00.334
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm just like, I

31:00.914 --> 31:05.475
[SPEAKER_01]: We either need to make this three, three, or we need to explain some stuff with a brand.

31:05.555 --> 31:12.538
[SPEAKER_00]: If you want to wonder why the fans aren't terribly behind some of these people, they don't know what their roles are.

31:13.078 --> 31:21.620
[SPEAKER_01]: They don't moralities and everybody's going to tell you, oh, it's like new Japan where you have certain stables of people and they're just in it for themselves and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

31:21.901 --> 31:24.201
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we see how over new Japan is right now.

31:24.221 --> 31:24.421
[SPEAKER_00]: Right.

31:24.561 --> 31:24.941
[SPEAKER_00]: Check out.

31:25.021 --> 31:26.162
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they do something.

31:26.222 --> 31:27.682
[SPEAKER_00]: They do some good tickets.

31:28.182 --> 31:29.423
[SPEAKER_00]: They do good numbers for the G1.

31:30.464 --> 31:32.125
[SPEAKER_00]: and the Tokyo dome some years.

31:32.145 --> 31:34.007
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying you can't have shades of gray.

31:34.227 --> 31:36.790
[SPEAKER_01]: I think you black and white though sometimes.

31:37.030 --> 31:39.032
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you do, especially with your top programs.

31:39.828 --> 31:46.371
[SPEAKER_00]: I think, like you can have, like nobody's 100% good, but you can't have guys that are being beaten.

31:46.411 --> 31:49.053
[SPEAKER_01]: I can't have guys that are being beaten.

31:49.713 --> 31:52.174
[SPEAKER_00]: Baby faces and heels on the same show.

31:52.534 --> 31:53.935
[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's just, it's too.

31:53.955 --> 31:55.076
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

31:55.416 --> 31:57.257
[SPEAKER_01]: If, if Pack had come out here.

31:57.797 --> 31:58.117
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

31:58.517 --> 31:59.458
[SPEAKER_01]: And been a part of this.

32:00.118 --> 32:16.788
[SPEAKER_01]: And then Claudio was separate and then you go, oh, there might be some dissension in the death writers or whatever, but having Claudio being the string that connects everything and just means kind of like the death writers really have no ethos, they just kind of go where they feel like you just Jeff, you just got to read more manga.

32:17.809 --> 32:27.395
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, we got a recap from collision and they showed Hacara Shida defending the title, I didn't write down who was against and I've already forgotten.

32:28.333 --> 32:28.654
[SPEAKER_01]: Cameron.

32:29.215 --> 32:30.056
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, that's correct.

32:30.156 --> 32:32.540
[SPEAKER_00]: And that ended up leading into another title match.

32:32.600 --> 32:34.503
[SPEAKER_00]: It's coming week against Queen Almanada.

32:34.683 --> 32:35.224
[SPEAKER_00]: So that's cool.

32:35.324 --> 32:35.724
[SPEAKER_00]: They showed it.

32:35.885 --> 32:36.566
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll watch that.

32:36.846 --> 32:37.547
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll watch that.

32:37.567 --> 32:37.847
[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.

32:37.867 --> 32:38.468
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.

32:38.548 --> 32:40.611
[SPEAKER_00]: And I mean, hey, something happened on collision.

32:40.632 --> 32:41.353
[SPEAKER_00]: They showed a recap.

32:41.413 --> 32:42.654
[SPEAKER_00]: I've never been complaining about that.

32:43.075 --> 32:47.897
[SPEAKER_01]: They recapped Collision more than they've ever recapped Collision this week.

32:48.157 --> 32:48.677
[SPEAKER_00]: You know why?

32:48.697 --> 32:53.139
[SPEAKER_00]: Because they had no show written.

32:53.599 --> 32:56.680
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, they had three segments promoted for this show.

32:57.461 --> 33:02.443
[SPEAKER_00]: Two hours before Dynamite began because I did the preview and it was the six woman match.

33:02.863 --> 33:07.244
[SPEAKER_00]: It was on Droughty versus Jake Doyle and it was the Kenny Omega victory celebration.

33:07.805 --> 33:08.405
[SPEAKER_00]: Nothing else.

33:09.215 --> 33:13.619
[SPEAKER_01]: And it was great because I felt like I didn't miss anything by not watching collision.

33:13.779 --> 33:15.760
[SPEAKER_01]: I'd like to this give me more of this.

33:15.820 --> 33:17.041
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and then you got to see it.

33:17.081 --> 33:18.142
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, hey, okay.

33:18.162 --> 33:19.363
[SPEAKER_00]: There's going to be another sheet of match.

33:19.383 --> 33:20.384
[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, that one look good.

33:20.424 --> 33:21.385
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I'll watch the next one.

33:21.945 --> 33:23.446
[SPEAKER_00]: That's hey, you know, mission accomplished.

33:23.967 --> 33:26.709
[SPEAKER_00]: Then we got an undraughty video package from Beach as always.

33:26.729 --> 33:27.470
[SPEAKER_00]: He's overdressed.

33:28.150 --> 33:29.251
[SPEAKER_00]: um, he had a woman with them.

33:29.311 --> 33:29.992
[SPEAKER_00]: She's cute.

33:30.352 --> 33:31.894
[SPEAKER_00]: She was not overdressed.

33:32.555 --> 33:34.677
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I think that's his legit lady, too.

33:34.897 --> 33:36.519
[SPEAKER_00]: I think so Leah something or other.

33:36.899 --> 33:37.560
[SPEAKER_00]: Leah Rachel.

33:37.860 --> 33:38.160
[SPEAKER_00]: I want us.

33:38.181 --> 33:38.421
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

33:38.461 --> 33:40.082
[SPEAKER_00]: I think that uh, Rachel Lee.

33:40.743 --> 33:42.665
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, he said he's a man of destiny.

33:42.705 --> 33:44.047
[SPEAKER_00]: He's a future world champion.

33:44.567 --> 33:45.588
[SPEAKER_00]: No one can stop me.

33:46.069 --> 33:46.749
[SPEAKER_00]: How you know.

33:47.370 --> 33:48.251
[SPEAKER_00]: Soon you will.

33:48.591 --> 33:50.053
[SPEAKER_00]: So he's added to his catchphrase.

33:50.575 --> 33:53.557
[SPEAKER_01]: We have found a catchphrase and we're going to beat it in the ground.

33:53.577 --> 33:54.978
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm kind of here for it.

33:55.238 --> 33:57.499
[SPEAKER_00]: I believe he's even got a sure system.

33:57.839 --> 34:05.564
[SPEAKER_01]: This is how it's almost like, hey, I figured out what I should have been doing in the other place this entire time.

34:05.604 --> 34:06.725
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm going to do it here.

34:06.865 --> 34:16.350
[SPEAKER_00]: And hopefully he makes a million bucks and you know what, you know, who got the fricking huge reaction commensurate to his push on this show, fricking on drawing.

34:16.871 --> 34:19.112
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it might be the most overguy on the show right now.

34:20.194 --> 34:22.376
[SPEAKER_01]: There's a fascinating thing, I'm kind of enjoying it.

34:22.757 --> 34:25.660
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and you know what, like that's how you get over.

34:26.040 --> 34:31.486
[SPEAKER_00]: You look good, you get a catchphrase over, you get your personality over, and you know what?

34:31.586 --> 34:34.409
[SPEAKER_01]: It's an Audi over and you make people care about you a one way or a year.

34:34.429 --> 34:36.751
[SPEAKER_00]: And you win your matches, and there you go.

34:37.565 --> 34:46.072
[SPEAKER_00]: So speaking of Andre, now Renee's with him in an interview, she says, if you win tonight, you get a shot at Mark Davis, and he says, Renee, I need to fight with every member.

34:46.212 --> 34:48.754
[SPEAKER_00]: If I need to fight with every member of the Doncouse family, I will.

34:49.134 --> 34:51.996
[SPEAKER_00]: If I have to take every title away from the Doncouse family, I will.

34:52.376 --> 34:55.679
[SPEAKER_00]: Because my destiny is to become a W World Champion.

34:56.119 --> 34:57.340
[SPEAKER_00]: Renee asks for his concern.

34:57.360 --> 35:00.583
[SPEAKER_00]: He says, I know, I know Tarenkila, but you know what?

35:00.703 --> 35:01.303
[SPEAKER_00]: I have this.

35:01.543 --> 35:03.285
[SPEAKER_00]: You want to see it and he brings out a little box.

35:03.305 --> 35:04.786
[SPEAKER_00]: I thought he was going to propose to Renee, but

35:05.206 --> 35:06.086
[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's not.

35:06.547 --> 35:07.667
[SPEAKER_00]: It didn't look like that.

35:08.608 --> 35:09.508
[SPEAKER_00]: It had to ring in it.

35:10.309 --> 35:12.049
[SPEAKER_00]: And he says, I got it from a good friend.

35:12.690 --> 35:16.071
[SPEAKER_00]: And then Renee Osmese, that good friend's name will ask, friend.

35:16.131 --> 35:18.532
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'll draw a smile.

35:18.572 --> 35:19.873
[SPEAKER_00]: And he says, how you know.

35:21.314 --> 35:25.296
[SPEAKER_00]: And she says, and I quote before that she says,

35:26.441 --> 35:28.523
[SPEAKER_00]: is that mjf's ring.

35:28.923 --> 35:33.707
[SPEAKER_00]: Not is that one of mjf's six rings is that mjf's ring.

35:33.907 --> 35:36.369
[SPEAKER_00]: So now I think it's cannon that he only has one.

35:37.790 --> 35:39.391
[SPEAKER_00]: Like even though he's told us he has six.

35:39.769 --> 35:59.518
[SPEAKER_01]: and that's that's fine and I liked this sake that it if you would be great saying but the proposing thing makes me think oh okay we'll set up a moxley match here there you go and find too um yeah and he's still over dressed and it kills me but I think it's great like when he's on the beach and he's at a full suit I mean oh it's just awesome

36:00.567 --> 36:09.010
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, all right, uh, then we got Renee again with the conglomeration, uh, she asked about a bunch of other teams wanting to belt Roddy says, well, where are they?

36:09.770 --> 36:14.812
[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, and then Orange Cassidy says, now feels like about the perfect time to someone's going to come in and challenge us.

36:15.292 --> 36:16.733
[SPEAKER_00]: And of course, it comes a demand.

36:17.493 --> 36:19.836
[SPEAKER_00]: and they said, we didn't come to fight you guys.

36:19.916 --> 36:20.918
[SPEAKER_00]: We won't even touch you.

36:20.958 --> 36:22.860
[SPEAKER_00]: In fact, nobody from the demand will touch you.

36:23.461 --> 36:26.144
[SPEAKER_00]: And if we did, you three would already be put down.

36:26.485 --> 36:27.506
[SPEAKER_00]: Says, I wanted you.

36:27.606 --> 36:31.451
[SPEAKER_00]: And then one of the, one of the demand guys says, I wanted to touch you guys.

36:32.632 --> 36:36.913
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I want to shut you guys up as a P, you can't keep those belts and those backpacks forever.

36:37.534 --> 36:43.856
[SPEAKER_00]: And then the other one says time for those belts to be on those belts of greatness, or time for those belts to be on the waist of greatness.

36:44.596 --> 36:49.177
[SPEAKER_00]: And as OCs about to answer them, they get attacked by the lethal twist.

36:50.198 --> 36:52.718
[SPEAKER_00]: And Ricochet says, Hey, I'm a man of my word.

36:52.758 --> 36:55.079
[SPEAKER_00]: I told you, we wouldn't lay a finger on you.

36:55.579 --> 36:57.480
[SPEAKER_00]: But those guys, they aren't in my group.

36:58.347 --> 37:03.388
[SPEAKER_00]: yet, and then they all left together and Renee's like, hey, can we get a doctor here?

37:03.408 --> 37:05.328
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, it's okay.

37:05.828 --> 37:17.390
[SPEAKER_01]: Number one, I liked, once again, we need to get some more lines for the, uh, for the, uh, gates of agony, gates of agony, please, because they're trying things, and I'm appreciating it.

37:17.450 --> 37:20.731
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't like that mustache on, uh, on Bishop Codd.

37:21.191 --> 37:22.111
[SPEAKER_01]: I am with you as well.

37:22.151 --> 37:24.331
[SPEAKER_00]: It looks good reminds me of Max Caster.

37:29.373 --> 37:43.327
[SPEAKER_01]: We need, because God, the grown, I thought you could have heard from where you are right now when I saw the vanilla baby in the lethal twist, beating down the conglomeration just to have a good match on collision or whatever.

37:45.518 --> 37:48.861
[SPEAKER_01]: I wanted a promo from this lethal twist.

37:49.422 --> 37:52.084
[SPEAKER_01]: Telling me number one that the lethal twist, which is fine.

37:52.445 --> 37:53.406
[SPEAKER_01]: I know I'm supposed to know that.

37:53.706 --> 38:07.499
[SPEAKER_01]: But why the six man mean so much to them or whatever, or we're gonna take it, not in the conglomeration to us, the people, because there's no connection with this team and they keep putting them on my screen.

38:08.762 --> 38:10.464
[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't give a damn about them.

38:10.564 --> 38:12.586
[SPEAKER_01]: And I want to kind of give a damn about them.

38:12.806 --> 38:17.531
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to give a damn about everybody because if you have TV time, that means you should be someone important.

38:18.071 --> 38:28.181
[SPEAKER_01]: And again, personality and building personality in this company should be something that should be an initiative from bottom to top.

38:28.561 --> 38:28.922
[SPEAKER_01]: Because

38:30.512 --> 38:35.917
[SPEAKER_01]: the lethal swirl needs it, and you know Jay lethal has it, so let's try it.

38:36.337 --> 38:37.178
[SPEAKER_00]: I know he had it.

38:37.298 --> 38:38.399
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure if he still hasn't.

38:38.779 --> 38:42.162
[SPEAKER_01]: That's fine, but hey, let me hear Blake Christian tries.

38:42.182 --> 38:44.084
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no Blake Christian is a great promo.

38:44.164 --> 38:44.565
[SPEAKER_00]: I've heard it.

38:45.509 --> 38:48.712
[SPEAKER_01]: I, you know, I only heard something at NXT briefly.

38:48.772 --> 38:49.332
[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no.

38:49.372 --> 38:52.395
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he's like, oh, is Indy stuff was great.

38:52.435 --> 38:54.597
[SPEAKER_00]: He's got some, yeah, he's got some good promos in our way.

38:54.837 --> 38:56.278
[SPEAKER_01]: See, so maybe you know that.

38:56.318 --> 38:56.819
[SPEAKER_01]: No, I know.

38:56.899 --> 39:12.833
[SPEAKER_00]: And the problem is is you know that this is all this is, is this is going to lead to a collision match between the lethal twist and the OC or whatever they're called, you'll see their, their, the collaboration, and then to lead to the conglomeration versus demand at the

39:13.273 --> 39:16.014
[SPEAKER_01]: That's fine, but that could be a little, let me pull that.

39:16.034 --> 39:18.775
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, lethal twists can beat these guys for the titles.

39:19.195 --> 39:19.856
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.

39:19.896 --> 39:20.356
[SPEAKER_00]: No, I agree.

39:20.396 --> 39:22.557
[SPEAKER_01]: Or that they care about beating them for the titles.

39:22.737 --> 39:23.657
[SPEAKER_00]: And give us a reason.

39:23.697 --> 39:25.698
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, and even if that reason is, hey, you know what?

39:25.938 --> 39:29.059
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, if we, if we win these titles, we'll be on TV every week.

39:29.619 --> 39:31.480
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe, you know, something.

39:32.220 --> 39:32.680
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

39:32.881 --> 39:35.001
[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, that would be great to be honest with you.

39:35.021 --> 39:38.483
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, like, Chris, I could be a bigger star if I'm on TV every week.

39:38.523 --> 39:38.823
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

39:39.283 --> 40:03.910
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and the only way I can get on TV is if I went a belt because otherwise like yeah, so Then we got Jake Doyle and a draw day L E to low and of course, I'll drawty needs to win this match to get a national title match I'll drawty came out with two women and Neither one of them the women in the big net by the way No, and he's got a new shirt and it's how you know with the Mexican flag colors.

40:04.230 --> 40:06.351
[SPEAKER_00]: So that's kind of cool and he's wearing that

40:06.971 --> 40:07.691
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it was good.

40:07.992 --> 40:11.013
[SPEAKER_00]: And he did the thing, taking a picture of the selfie.

40:11.053 --> 40:14.035
[SPEAKER_00]: Eventually he took off the shirt and he had another shirt on underneath.

40:14.055 --> 40:19.018
[SPEAKER_00]: And that was the fuck Dawn fucking GF shirt, but he had red tape over the curse words.

40:19.258 --> 40:20.638
[SPEAKER_00]: So you can actually sell that.

40:22.739 --> 40:25.421
[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, but you can't wear it to school kids.

40:25.621 --> 40:27.102
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you can't with the red tape.

40:27.462 --> 40:28.362
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, okay.

40:28.603 --> 40:29.743
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's pause here for a moment.

40:29.783 --> 40:30.964
[SPEAKER_01]: Who came out with Jake Doyle?

40:32.405 --> 40:32.425
[SPEAKER_00]: I

40:33.240 --> 40:34.020
[SPEAKER_00]: Don Cales, right?

40:34.761 --> 40:36.402
[SPEAKER_01]: Nobody came out here with Jake Doyle.

40:36.962 --> 40:37.883
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay.

40:37.903 --> 40:38.363
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're right.

40:38.383 --> 40:48.648
[SPEAKER_01]: He's a member of the Cales family and then Cales is not representing nor is Lance archer there to be a second of any kind or even Mark Davis who, you know, has had the stuff at stake in this match.

40:48.668 --> 40:49.429
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that was yes.

40:49.649 --> 40:58.733
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is a, I mean, I'm trying to set it up literally in the, in the interview, I'm going through the entire Don Callos family.

40:59.033 --> 41:05.376
[SPEAKER_01]: So let's do that story telling a little bit harder here when we have a member of the Don Callos family out there.

41:05.976 --> 41:15.200
[SPEAKER_00]: You know what's funny is Mike Bailey has been doing the same thing only it's been on collision and he's been cutting these problems about how he's going through the Don Callos family.

41:16.140 --> 41:32.895
[SPEAKER_00]: differences is my daily is losing all of that because every member of the chaos family it's hilarious yeah they're like one of the best matches of the year on collision but he lost um so anyways they they had you know okay so this match was this match was it was a really good match but it was also like

41:33.455 --> 41:34.516
[SPEAKER_00]: on Draught, yeah, I was long.

41:34.876 --> 41:54.025
[SPEAKER_00]: But on Draughty was, I mean, half this match was just on Draughty getting his character over, like he wasn't even wrestling, like he was just posing for the crowd, you know, taking off his shirt, teasing, taking off the pants, like it was, he was melking it, and I'm not complaining, like this was like this guy is over, and he's one of the most overguides on the show, so I'm not going to complain.

41:55.065 --> 41:58.507
[SPEAKER_00]: Eventually, once they started wrestling, they were, you know, fans were super into it.

41:58.527 --> 42:02.169
[SPEAKER_00]: They're a chant and A, W. Doyle did some really impressive things.

42:02.229 --> 42:06.071
[SPEAKER_00]: At one point, he caught him on a dive and hit him with a ligarbon for two.

42:06.852 --> 42:12.875
[SPEAKER_00]: On Drawdy did the three Amigos Super Suplexes and got the massive Eddie chant.

42:12.995 --> 42:14.496
[SPEAKER_00]: Keep that in mind for later.

42:15.437 --> 42:16.497
[SPEAKER_00]: Got a two off of that.

42:16.897 --> 42:19.819
[SPEAKER_00]: Then he hit the running knee in the corner that he'd been teasing for a while.

42:19.919 --> 42:21.000
[SPEAKER_00]: Got a two off of that.

42:21.640 --> 42:26.643
[SPEAKER_00]: It jumped off the turnbuckle, Doyle punched him in midair, hit him with an elbow standing for two.

42:26.664 --> 42:27.364
[SPEAKER_00]: That was great.

42:27.944 --> 42:33.028
[SPEAKER_00]: Then on Drawdy cradle them for two, and then he gets up, hits a spinning elbow, hits a DM, and got the win.

42:33.508 --> 42:39.492
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it was a definitive win, but it was still a great match, and I thought it was, I thought it was awesome.

42:39.552 --> 42:41.994
[SPEAKER_01]: Those are such a lot, I just, it's one of those things where it's like,

42:43.626 --> 42:51.031
[SPEAKER_01]: Unfortunately, Mark Davis having this title doesn't free him up to do tag matches with Jake Doyle and I was really liking them as a team.

42:52.733 --> 42:54.194
[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that's hell.

42:54.234 --> 43:07.403
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's bring back Wardlow and team him back up with Jake Doyle, make them the biggest hurt, but I think he's hurt, but yeah, or even cage now that he lost, sure cage or archer, I mean, I, I heard that art is it archers like deals coming up for something.

43:07.804 --> 43:08.484
[SPEAKER_00]: I think shameless.

43:09.225 --> 43:10.045
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.

43:10.105 --> 43:10.586
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, God.

43:10.906 --> 43:12.207
[SPEAKER_00]: Shameless to be perfect for the cows.

43:13.655 --> 43:25.638
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, yeah, no, it was fine, but I just, I wanted, I want, I want on Dreddy's trip through the Callis family to mean a lot more, and I want the Callis family to be concerned about them.

43:25.698 --> 43:35.640
[SPEAKER_01]: And if they, if they're not, I'd like to hear that they're not concerned about because Fletcher's over here, focused on Bandito and Ocada is doing whatever he's doing.

43:35.681 --> 43:40.602
[SPEAKER_00]: Fletcher's focused on Bandito, you say, where, where, that comes from, I guess we'll find out.

43:41.182 --> 43:41.442
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

43:42.289 --> 43:55.041
[SPEAKER_00]: On Drawdy versus Davis is the second match official for redemption, so that's when the match is going to happen, and Mark Davis came out to confront him on Drawdy pulled out the ring and put it on and then Mark Davis smartly backed off.

43:55.762 --> 44:01.427
[SPEAKER_01]: Mark Davis, it's funny because I forget he's Australian when he's dressed up as a redneck trucker.

44:01.607 --> 44:02.348
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.

44:03.343 --> 44:04.984
[SPEAKER_00]: I know I still hate the dunkzilla name.

44:05.164 --> 44:06.304
[SPEAKER_00]: I just would dump that.

44:06.685 --> 44:08.966
[SPEAKER_00]: The ladies love that dunk.

44:09.246 --> 44:09.806
[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you that.

44:10.346 --> 44:11.867
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what it is, but oh yeah.

44:12.287 --> 44:12.547
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah.

44:12.567 --> 44:13.088
[SPEAKER_00]: They love that.

44:13.108 --> 44:13.488
[SPEAKER_00]: What lady.

44:13.508 --> 44:15.409
[SPEAKER_00]: The dunk of the name.

44:15.489 --> 44:15.949
[SPEAKER_00]: I love that.

44:16.009 --> 44:17.350
[SPEAKER_01]: Is Lady B in this chat?

44:17.370 --> 44:18.750
[SPEAKER_00]: I want to hug.

44:18.770 --> 44:20.631
[SPEAKER_00]: If Lady B is here, she will tell you.

44:20.751 --> 44:22.192
[SPEAKER_00]: She is front of the line.

44:23.052 --> 44:25.273
[SPEAKER_00]: They love the Rodriguez-Bedunka dunk.

44:25.313 --> 44:25.573
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah.

44:25.914 --> 44:28.275
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't get it, but that's yeah.

44:28.295 --> 44:28.715
[SPEAKER_00]: Good for him.

44:30.023 --> 44:35.410
[SPEAKER_00]: We got a video package of candy winning the title from last week, which we saw at the beginning of the show.

44:35.430 --> 44:36.131
[SPEAKER_00]: We're showing it again.

44:36.251 --> 44:37.172
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not complaining.

44:38.073 --> 44:40.015
[SPEAKER_00]: He's a world title change hasn't last week.

44:40.997 --> 44:42.338
[SPEAKER_00]: You don't need to be shy about it.

44:43.720 --> 44:47.645
[SPEAKER_00]: Then we went to break, we come back, Tony Shabani's in the ring, brought out Kenny Omega.

44:47.845 --> 44:49.186
[SPEAKER_00]: Kenny is dressed like a champ.

44:50.048 --> 44:51.389
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a red carpet in the ring.

44:51.409 --> 44:55.373
[SPEAKER_00]: There's like an Omega symbol set up with a bunch of pictures of Omega on it.

44:55.413 --> 45:00.877
[SPEAKER_00]: They never really focused on that like they'd to put a lot of work into that thing and nobody could barely even see it, but whatever.

45:01.498 --> 45:10.085
[SPEAKER_00]: And then the bucks came out before Kenny could say anything and Nick is carrying something that looks like a belt except Kenny's wearing a belt.

45:10.105 --> 45:11.486
[SPEAKER_00]: So I wasn't sure what was going on there.

45:12.747 --> 45:17.711
[SPEAKER_00]: And then Matt Jackson, the first one to speak, he says, we've been best friends in this business for nearly 20 years.

45:18.131 --> 45:19.612
[SPEAKER_00]: Last week, we saw you do it.

45:20.213 --> 45:22.694
[SPEAKER_00]: You won the big one, you did it all by yourself, or proud of you.

45:23.215 --> 45:29.719
[SPEAKER_00]: You proved you're still the best professional restaurant on this planet, but Kenny, I got to admit, you were in that particular belt kind of piece me.

45:30.200 --> 45:31.681
[SPEAKER_00]: So we brought you something.

45:32.441 --> 45:34.464
[SPEAKER_00]: and they uncover it.

45:34.664 --> 45:35.225
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's a belt.

45:35.685 --> 45:36.626
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm looking at it.

45:36.646 --> 45:37.828
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, I don't know.

45:38.168 --> 45:39.890
[SPEAKER_00]: To me, it looks exactly the same.

45:40.251 --> 45:43.114
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure to some people this means something, but to me.

45:43.374 --> 45:49.061
[SPEAKER_00]: And then the announcer pointed out that Kenny Kenny was wearing the triple B. I swear to God, I sound no difference.

45:50.002 --> 45:50.522
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.

45:51.563 --> 46:02.547
[SPEAKER_00]: I guess the is there burberry on the on the strap I guess, but I don't like the yeah like I mean the strap maybe look a little different but when Kenny was wearing it you couldn't see the strap.

46:02.767 --> 46:10.170
[SPEAKER_00]: It was it was the difference was so nominal that yeah, but I guess to these guys it means something so that's cool and to a lot of fans probably did too.

46:10.610 --> 46:13.191
[SPEAKER_00]: So anyways, I can can he's turned to speak.

46:14.532 --> 46:17.733
[SPEAKER_00]: And and so he says that's unbelievable.

46:18.693 --> 46:20.135
[SPEAKER_00]: 1100 some odd days.

46:20.415 --> 46:21.076
[SPEAKER_00]: It's been so long.

46:21.096 --> 46:22.477
[SPEAKER_00]: I can't even quote the real number.

46:23.238 --> 46:25.320
[SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't even sure if I can hold on to it ever again.

46:25.340 --> 46:31.126
[SPEAKER_00]: And as much as I made a promise to myself and the fans chanted you deserve it and Kenny lost himself for a bit.

46:31.166 --> 46:32.768
[SPEAKER_00]: And then he's like, yeah, why the heck not?

46:33.328 --> 46:34.670
[SPEAKER_00]: So let me tell you guys one thing.

46:35.640 --> 46:40.544
[SPEAKER_00]: The difference maker wasn't just myself believing in myself or my best friends believing in me.

46:41.244 --> 46:48.149
[SPEAKER_00]: It was my friends and my family and when I say my family, that includes each and every one of you, my extended A, W family.

46:48.489 --> 46:50.431
[SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't for all you guys believed in me.

46:50.611 --> 46:52.512
[SPEAKER_00]: I'd have given up on myself a long time ago.

46:53.073 --> 46:55.474
[SPEAKER_00]: This wasn't ever supposed to happen and yet here we are.

46:55.935 --> 46:59.237
[SPEAKER_00]: Here we are with less than 50 days remaining until Wembley Stadium.

46:59.797 --> 47:01.439
[SPEAKER_00]: As much as I'd like to say, I'm ready.

47:01.739 --> 47:02.780
[SPEAKER_00]: We still got some work to do.

47:03.400 --> 47:12.806
[SPEAKER_00]: And just like the journey was to get this back, I know that with the belief of each and every one of you, you're going to see the best version of Cano Mega that there's ever been in all lead wrestling.

47:13.865 --> 47:15.146
[SPEAKER_00]: outcomes will aspirate.

47:15.166 --> 47:16.127
[SPEAKER_00]: He's got a mic as well.

47:16.687 --> 47:17.928
[SPEAKER_00]: He says, thank you, Boston.

47:18.688 --> 47:20.089
[SPEAKER_00]: Bucks, long time no see.

47:20.149 --> 47:22.691
[SPEAKER_00]: Glad you guys landed on your feet after I cost you your jobs.

47:23.171 --> 47:23.832
[SPEAKER_00]: They all chuckle.

47:24.452 --> 47:27.694
[SPEAKER_00]: Says, would you mind if I had a conversation with my boy, Kenny, if that's okay.

47:28.235 --> 47:32.998
[SPEAKER_00]: So they leave some fans were chatting for our aspirate, but not nearly as many as we're chatting for Kenny.

47:33.598 --> 47:34.619
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's a problem, by the way.

47:36.340 --> 47:38.722
[SPEAKER_00]: He says, Boston, may I talk on your behalf?

47:39.582 --> 47:40.702
[SPEAKER_00]: and for myself as well.

47:41.263 --> 47:44.244
[SPEAKER_00]: It's really good to see Kenny Omega ZW World Champion again.

47:44.264 --> 47:45.504
[SPEAKER_00]: Does that work for you, Boston?

47:45.724 --> 47:46.945
[SPEAKER_00]: See, cheap pop.

47:47.165 --> 47:48.245
[SPEAKER_00]: You probably got that from fully.

47:49.025 --> 47:49.966
[SPEAKER_00]: I got to tell you, Kenny.

47:50.666 --> 47:52.547
[SPEAKER_00]: I was worried about you giving up on yourself.

47:52.707 --> 47:55.988
[SPEAKER_00]: You needed to believe in yourself and believe that you could be that Kenny Omega.

47:56.348 --> 47:57.008
[SPEAKER_00]: And you damn it.

47:57.028 --> 47:59.869
[SPEAKER_00]: You went out there and wrestled them that heat for 25 minutes.

47:59.909 --> 48:01.030
[SPEAKER_00]: You never gave up once.

48:01.550 --> 48:02.730
[SPEAKER_00]: I was there front and center.

48:03.150 --> 48:05.391
[SPEAKER_00]: I saw you got hit with that belt and I thought that was it.

48:05.691 --> 48:06.952
[SPEAKER_00]: I thought the dream was over with

48:07.592 --> 48:13.555
[SPEAKER_00]: And then you kicked out a one-year cheeky flag, ladies and gentlemen, the cleaner is back.

48:13.655 --> 48:15.255
[SPEAKER_00]: The best bout machine is back.

48:16.056 --> 48:18.397
[SPEAKER_00]: One of the greatest to have ever done this is back.

48:18.937 --> 48:20.258
[SPEAKER_00]: Banzer Channing for Kenny again.

48:21.098 --> 48:24.660
[SPEAKER_00]: I want to say this to you, Kenny, because as we get closer to Wembley, it's going to heat up.

48:25.160 --> 48:26.921
[SPEAKER_00]: For 10 years you've been my hero mate.

48:27.481 --> 48:30.482
[SPEAKER_00]: I've got to watch you wrestle the Tokyo dome and all around the world.

48:30.822 --> 48:33.363
[SPEAKER_00]: You inspired me to be the best I could possibly be.

48:33.784 --> 48:35.664
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's a tribute to the beautiful work

48:37.105 --> 48:43.447
[SPEAKER_00]: And when I think of A, W, I think of Kenny Omega, and all I ever wanted to be was a fraction of what Kenny Omega was.

48:44.027 --> 48:49.389
[SPEAKER_00]: But Kenny, brev, I'm locked in right now, and I'm not happy with being second best.

48:50.169 --> 48:51.430
[SPEAKER_00]: Kenny says, nor should you be.

48:52.268 --> 48:54.329
[SPEAKER_00]: And Will says, now here's what we're going to do, boss man.

48:54.689 --> 48:56.310
[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to keep this going and going.

48:56.791 --> 49:00.193
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll be out here showing every person why we're in the position we're in.

49:00.573 --> 49:01.814
[SPEAKER_00]: This is my dream come true.

49:02.254 --> 49:06.497
[SPEAKER_00]: This is the real life something he said.

49:06.537 --> 49:08.258
[SPEAKER_00]: I think he made a reference to Street Fighter.

49:09.038 --> 49:10.019
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and I didn't get it.

49:10.119 --> 49:11.621
[SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't write down the names because I didn't know them.

49:11.661 --> 49:22.512
[SPEAKER_00]: But he says fighting it out and a bunch of people pop because they got the reference that I didn't and he says Sunday, the 30th of August at Wemley Stadium, the main event for the AW World Championship.

49:22.632 --> 49:32.782
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's show them that this is where the best wrestle and they're about to shake hands and Kevin night interrupts and he's got a mic and can he says don't be shy join the party.

49:33.927 --> 49:47.418
[SPEAKER_00]: And then he says, I don't mean to break up the brotherly love fast you got going on, but broved me in the champion, got some talking to do so champion, why don't you go sit in the corner and then Katie says, no, well, can stay.

49:48.179 --> 49:49.319
[SPEAKER_00]: And he says, what do you got, Kevin?

49:50.344 --> 49:52.605
[SPEAKER_00]: And he says, well, I just want to congratulate you face to face.

49:52.945 --> 49:59.388
[SPEAKER_00]: I know you two are ready to get it on at Wembley, but the jet is still out of the world title shot courtesy of Maxwell Jacob Fraudman.

49:59.968 --> 50:03.130
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, obviously, he's not here, but there's still a debt to be paid.

50:03.150 --> 50:04.050
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm here to collect.

50:04.570 --> 50:08.952
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, you say you're the wrestling god or wrestling machine, but what's a god to a non-believer?

50:09.272 --> 50:12.874
[SPEAKER_00]: Because the jet is ready to become jet two belts and make that a reality.

50:13.414 --> 50:14.095
[SPEAKER_00]: So how about this?

50:14.615 --> 50:17.316
[SPEAKER_00]: Me and you at Redemption for that A, W, world title.

50:18.940 --> 50:34.050
[SPEAKER_00]: And Kenny says, first of all, step back while you're talking to me now you brought up something interesting let me just say I'm glad you're out here you brought up a promise made to me made to you by Maxwell Jacob Friedman and you're going to try to hold me to his word.

50:34.678 --> 50:38.359
[SPEAKER_00]: Why would I give you a shot just because Maxwell Jacob Friedman promised you one?

50:38.679 --> 50:39.419
[SPEAKER_00]: We're not doing that.

50:40.039 --> 50:43.660
[SPEAKER_00]: But maybe just maybe I'll give you a shot because I'm a nice guy.

50:44.380 --> 50:48.461
[SPEAKER_00]: Because from the first time I laid eyes on you, I saw something special.

50:48.842 --> 50:52.122
[SPEAKER_00]: The first day I laid eyes on you, I saw someone that had it.

50:52.722 --> 50:53.223
[SPEAKER_00]: What's it?

50:53.583 --> 50:56.543
[SPEAKER_00]: It's an undeniable factor that only superstars possess.

50:56.964 --> 50:59.164
[SPEAKER_00]: You look the part, you're faster than everyone else.

50:59.184 --> 51:00.564
[SPEAKER_00]: You jump higher than everyone else.

51:03.025 --> 51:07.446
[SPEAKER_00]: but that's where it ended because you have to go and do something and that was a line yourself with Don Callis.

51:08.026 --> 51:12.788
[SPEAKER_00]: Now I'd be a hypocrite if I told everyone here tonight that I didn't believe in his siren song.

51:12.808 --> 51:20.150
[SPEAKER_00]: I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't believe that Don Callis wouldn't lead me to the promised land and a thousand or so days ago he did lead me that title.

51:20.850 --> 51:23.511
[SPEAKER_00]: But you know what that was during coronavirus period.

51:23.571 --> 51:27.352
[SPEAKER_00]: So when no one showed up to the party, I just saw this because they couldn't.

51:27.882 --> 51:33.232
[SPEAKER_00]: But the fact is no one would have showed up to that party because no one believed in that guy and nor were they proud of him.

51:33.753 --> 51:36.378
[SPEAKER_00]: And that was the day my self-worth went right down the toilet.

51:37.396 --> 51:39.257
[SPEAKER_00]: Tell me, Kevin, what are you doing with a guy like Don?

51:39.857 --> 51:44.620
[SPEAKER_00]: Trust me when I say that I believe in you, that when I believe in you, it isn't just me talking for me.

51:45.080 --> 51:57.628
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking the words that speedball beliefs, that will ask for your beliefs, and call me crazy, but when I tell you that you don't need to be Don Calcese lap dog night, that's the same feeling the fans here have an attendance as well, and they all cheer.

51:58.248 --> 51:59.028
[SPEAKER_00]: You don't need his help.

51:59.469 --> 52:02.610
[SPEAKER_00]: You could have done this, you could have got the TNT title on your own.

52:03.111 --> 52:04.972
[SPEAKER_00]: You could have even had my title on your own.

52:05.516 --> 52:11.241
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, say what you will about Maxwell Jacob Friedman, the one thing he was wasn't a fraud.

52:11.721 --> 52:13.563
[SPEAKER_00]: He came out, he defended this belt.

52:13.883 --> 52:15.204
[SPEAKER_00]: When he said something, he did it.

52:15.745 --> 52:17.406
[SPEAKER_00]: The only fraud I'm looking at here is you.

52:17.927 --> 52:20.189
[SPEAKER_00]: I know that deep down inside you aren't being yourself.

52:21.249 --> 52:23.952
[SPEAKER_00]: He says, because that shit, that isn't coming from in here.

52:24.632 --> 52:27.335
[SPEAKER_00]: What comes from here is probably actually a good guy.

52:28.142 --> 52:33.144
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, call me crazy Kevin night, but I really do think there's a whole lot of goodness left in that heart of yours.

52:33.504 --> 52:38.647
[SPEAKER_00]: You don't need a guy like Don Calls to be the guy like Kenny Omega, but it's going to be you and me at the paper view.

52:39.107 --> 52:43.849
[SPEAKER_00]: I want to be Kevin the jet night, not Kevin Don Calls is life dog night.

52:44.249 --> 52:47.290
[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're going to become jet two belts, I want you to do it on your own.

52:48.371 --> 52:51.332
[SPEAKER_00]: And the fans caught onto the lap dog thing and we're chatting that.

52:52.048 --> 52:54.209
[SPEAKER_00]: And he says, you know what, Kenny Omega, you made a good claim.

52:55.069 --> 53:16.119
[SPEAKER_00]: I have come this far on myself, but there ain't no goodness left in my heart, only greatness and he level Kenny with a mic and then he ducked out of the way of Will Osprey, Darby attacked him from behind on stage beat up on him, Brian Cage showed up, laid out Darby and conveniently here, they couldn't mention that these two are wrestling later tonight, but they didn't because I don't think the match was booked yet.

53:16.883 --> 53:30.299
[SPEAKER_00]: uh... calis uh... or more family members came in rpg vise l cloned somebody else uh... omega took a no no no that was uh... that was heteroceros over here to okay it's heteroceros it was a mark davis was the other one

53:31.355 --> 53:37.080
[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll make a laid-out trend, Kevinites directing traffic, and then eventually the death riders made the save.

53:37.820 --> 53:44.926
[SPEAKER_00]: And then after their heels like the previous segment, and then when they were there, Tony Shuman he's like, hey, I'm gone here.

53:44.946 --> 53:47.548
[SPEAKER_00]: And then I think Tony Gong got in his ear.

53:47.588 --> 53:49.649
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a, do not say what you're gonna say next.

53:49.689 --> 53:49.970
[SPEAKER_00]: Right.

53:50.490 --> 53:50.710
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

53:51.751 --> 53:52.351
[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah.

53:52.612 --> 53:58.296
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it was Dragon Ball Z, not Street Fighters, but again, I get the right way.

53:58.676 --> 53:59.237
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, let's go.

53:59.257 --> 54:00.578
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, 14, 13 words I wrote down there.

54:01.371 --> 54:02.771
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was long.

54:03.172 --> 54:04.052
[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't as bad.

54:04.692 --> 54:04.872
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

54:05.372 --> 54:13.675
[SPEAKER_01]: There were things that, I mean, and this, I'm, I'm admittedly going to be nitpicky here, because they're, there are things that bother me a little bit.

54:14.455 --> 54:18.796
[SPEAKER_01]: The first one I'm going to throw it away because everybody tells me it happened and I never saw it.

54:18.916 --> 54:24.178
[SPEAKER_01]: Is this whole Kenny Omega doubted himself storyline that never came up on TV.

54:25.863 --> 54:28.745
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't I don't see ever doubt it himself.

54:28.785 --> 54:46.473
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he had the one about his his surgery and he may never see you again, but this wasn't a long running story where he had you know, he was really really down on himself and he's just like gosh, I don't know so the thing is what it is it's it's it's actually Kenny is now saying that he was doubting himself at the time.

54:47.665 --> 54:49.966
[SPEAKER_00]: And he said this for a while now.

54:50.006 --> 54:51.406
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, we never saw it.

54:51.466 --> 54:53.587
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's bringing it up all the time too.

54:53.687 --> 54:55.668
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, what the hell are you all talking about?

54:55.688 --> 54:56.608
[SPEAKER_01]: This never happened.

54:57.128 --> 55:10.673
[SPEAKER_01]: That said, Kenny and Kevin Knight, something about Kevin Knight brought out something and Kenny Omega finally, because I just find a lot of his bromo's kind of dead eyed in monotone and I feel like he kind of liked his interaction with Kevin Knight.

55:10.813 --> 55:11.193
[SPEAKER_01]: I did.

55:11.914 --> 55:12.574
[SPEAKER_01]: Second thing.

55:13.614 --> 55:22.540
[SPEAKER_01]: We needed a connection on the Kenny Omega telling the bucks he wants to do this on his own with no help and Will Osprey actually helping.

55:23.001 --> 55:26.423
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, yes, everyone told me that was a key part of this story.

55:26.743 --> 55:31.006
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, and it was never brought up in that promo and I was waiting for it.

55:31.026 --> 55:32.287
[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, here it comes.

55:32.847 --> 55:36.570
[SPEAKER_01]: Say it because Will's being far too friendly and happy.

55:36.590 --> 55:40.713
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like, yeah, I came out there and saved your breath all this other stuff.

55:41.972 --> 55:50.794
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, and I hate to say this, because actually shock me how big Kevin Knight is standing next to Kenny Omega and Will Osprey.

55:51.994 --> 55:57.115
[SPEAKER_01]: But this was the moment for Kevin Knight to break something out and he didn't.

55:57.816 --> 56:00.416
[SPEAKER_01]: And he instead of being Kenny two belts here.

56:01.236 --> 56:03.117
[SPEAKER_01]: I wanted to hear about Kenny.

56:04.230 --> 56:25.837
[SPEAKER_01]: or not can't hurt jet two bells jet two bells I wanted to hear about jet the world champ and his ambition and why he wants the world title even though he has the TNT title and how you know all the things and whatever it is man this is the time for the character turn and to say yes

56:26.903 --> 56:40.767
[SPEAKER_01]: He has something here, and he's not gonna win it at this thing, but in this Tetta Tett, he's shown something for the, it like the Fletcher Hangman sit down for the contract signing, which was so awesome between the two of them.

56:41.108 --> 56:54.612
[SPEAKER_01]: This was the moment, I'm just, I'm side coaching like an acting coach and improv coach going, giving more Kevin, giving more, give it to me, give it to me, and he never did it, and you're just like, it just became, yeah, I want two belts.

56:55.862 --> 56:57.023
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm evil now.

56:57.383 --> 57:03.969
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just like I was just reminded that Kenny mentioned it once and it was after dynasty.

57:04.129 --> 57:09.633
[SPEAKER_00]: If you remember, they did a promo segment that aired on Dynamite the Falling Week and Kenny mentioned it there.

57:11.194 --> 57:14.217
[SPEAKER_00]: That's the only time he mentioned that he'd been doubting himself.

57:15.155 --> 57:18.538
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, that's fine, but that's not what we're telling on television.

57:18.798 --> 57:28.547
[SPEAKER_00]: No, um, so yeah, no, I agree and and I'm glad you brought up the Hangman Fletcher thing because that's what this is designed to be this and it's omega night.

57:28.647 --> 57:31.510
[SPEAKER_00]: No, because Kevin night is not where Kyle Fletcher was a year ago.

57:31.790 --> 57:32.030
[SPEAKER_00]: Right.

57:32.050 --> 57:32.571
[SPEAKER_00]: The problem.

57:32.671 --> 57:32.891
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

57:33.131 --> 57:49.607
[SPEAKER_01]: We were begging for anything and they're doing and they're actually doing the same exact thing where it's like, I know that you're not the guy sitting here with Don who's, you know, you're still good in your heart and it can sky walk or whatever, you know, we're in the ring in the ring.

57:49.707 --> 57:51.028
[SPEAKER_00]: He's he's good enough.

57:51.469 --> 57:54.592
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he's not he's not his good is flutter, but he's good enough.

57:55.132 --> 57:57.733
[SPEAKER_01]: But he's changed his style too to be a little more healish.

57:57.773 --> 57:58.533
[SPEAKER_01]: And I like that.

57:58.953 --> 57:59.593
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I know.

57:59.673 --> 58:04.054
[SPEAKER_00]: I've got you pointed that out because I was talking to about this with Garrett today on in the discord.

58:04.094 --> 58:06.695
[SPEAKER_00]: And he said that that Kevin night hasn't changed his style.

58:06.715 --> 58:09.296
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, hmm, I don't think we're watching the same matches.

58:09.476 --> 58:12.196
[SPEAKER_00]: He's doing the big splash at least twice to hurt people's ribs.

58:12.256 --> 58:13.097
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, exactly.

58:13.117 --> 58:13.297
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

58:13.317 --> 58:14.397
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

58:14.737 --> 58:15.137
[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah.

58:15.177 --> 58:18.358
[SPEAKER_00]: So I think like the problem is is that he doesn't have the out of the ring yet.

58:19.318 --> 58:23.960
[SPEAKER_00]: and he's more time and I'm, you know, this is probably too early for him.

58:24.261 --> 58:27.322
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's also, I think, like, look, there are signs.

58:29.750 --> 58:30.691
[SPEAKER_01]: That there's something in there.

58:30.711 --> 58:32.512
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying he's completely bad.

58:32.572 --> 58:33.873
[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no, not at all.

58:33.973 --> 58:35.894
[SPEAKER_01]: Like because he's not there yet.

58:35.994 --> 58:52.103
[SPEAKER_01]: He has cocky down But it's one of those things where it's like I'm being subtle about my cockiness and this is not the time for subtlety This is the time to play to the back of the room and you want to hear I want to hear him monologue a little That's what I want to hear people who muddle up too much

58:52.783 --> 58:52.983
[SPEAKER_01]: me.

58:53.543 --> 58:55.544
[SPEAKER_01]: But there are people who don't monologue enough.

58:55.584 --> 59:01.365
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is the time for the great bad guy monologue about being the world champion.

59:01.465 --> 59:03.145
[SPEAKER_01]: And I was just dying for it.

59:03.165 --> 59:07.626
[SPEAKER_01]: And then he just said, I'm going to be jet two belts.

59:07.947 --> 59:13.848
[SPEAKER_00]: I just think he's trying to be the rock in 1996 and combine with Becky.

59:14.428 --> 59:15.728
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, a little bit.

59:15.948 --> 59:18.869
[SPEAKER_00]: And the thing is, if you look at Kyle Fletcher, Kyle Fletcher said some

59:22.990 --> 59:28.512
[SPEAKER_00]: With Kevin night, you don't believe anything he's saying because no, he thinks he believes it No, you think he's a good guy.

59:28.652 --> 59:30.412
[SPEAKER_01]: And then yeah, I need Leo Rush to take a mess.

59:30.452 --> 59:31.753
[SPEAKER_01]: I go here's how you play cocky.

59:31.993 --> 59:36.614
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah Yeah, here's how you play gallum you decide.

59:37.335 --> 59:38.255
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, oh, God.

59:38.355 --> 59:42.876
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I Watched Leo Rush Razz today Leo Rush to get shot shots.

59:42.896 --> 59:47.338
[SPEAKER_00]: See the battle of the black hearts in G.C.W It's crazy

59:48.238 --> 59:53.041
[SPEAKER_00]: All right, so we go from that to Jack Perry interview backstage.

59:53.101 --> 59:54.342
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, freeze.

59:54.822 --> 59:55.162
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

59:55.222 --> 01:00:05.748
[SPEAKER_01]: This was a problem all show the live backstage promos because the sound mixing was bad and Perry

01:00:07.118 --> 01:00:26.876
[SPEAKER_01]: hits his line before they've actually cut away from the scene and then he has to repeat it again to say it these need to be pre-tapes and fit them in the way it's held for pitch to it i thought it was i even wrote down i yeah go to the jack there video package and then yeah with a live and then he said so there's like oops no this is live on tape uh-oh

01:00:27.616 --> 01:00:34.120
[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, they reminded us that he resigned and so he says last week I officially started chapter two of my journey in A.W.

01:00:34.700 --> 01:00:40.764
[SPEAKER_00]: I wrestled all around the world and I won four championships and I was right on the verge of breaking through that next level.

01:00:41.264 --> 01:00:44.466
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, this Saturday in Boston, I'm looking for a match.

01:00:44.786 --> 01:00:50.270
[SPEAKER_00]: And I want to give an opportunity to someone who wants to break through and show the world a professional wrestling with the future is all about.

01:00:51.257 --> 01:01:03.066
[SPEAKER_00]: see a Saturday Boston and then they cut to the side in luchisaurus is the one holding the boom mic, which I guess is psychic wearing a New York jersey in Boston and which is yeah Do you know who he's wrestling?

01:01:03.527 --> 01:01:06.449
[SPEAKER_01]: Did you hear yes, and they should have said this in the promo.

01:01:06.469 --> 01:01:14.495
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes It being a quote unquote open challenge and then saying it at the end of the show when people have started to tune out You should have said Nick Wayne your back.

01:01:14.795 --> 01:01:18.738
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll see you in Boston Yeah, and then it's like oh Nick Wayne's back.

01:01:19.119 --> 01:01:20.480
[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe I want to watch this match

01:01:21.398 --> 01:01:37.483
[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't even know I didn't even see when they promote it must have been during somebody's entrance because no it was no it was on the it was on the crawl at the end when when Mercedes and the and when they were celebrating and stuff that they're going over the matches and

01:01:38.123 --> 01:01:40.065
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I missed it then.

01:01:40.105 --> 01:01:41.986
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, Nick Wayne, I forgot about him.

01:01:42.387 --> 01:01:48.192
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he was wrestling and he lost his TV title in ROH then he went to Japan for the super juniors.

01:01:48.212 --> 01:01:51.875
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that ended like two months ago, and I don't know what he's been doing.

01:01:51.975 --> 01:01:54.077
[SPEAKER_01]: And next albumer said he's been in Japan.

01:01:54.197 --> 01:01:56.299
[SPEAKER_01]: So, well, back to the two months ago.

01:01:56.379 --> 01:01:57.620
[SPEAKER_00]: He was in Japan.

01:01:57.640 --> 01:02:00.962
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, technically he was in Japan.

01:02:01.763 --> 01:02:05.385
[SPEAKER_00]: So then they go to break to come back and throw details coming to the ring.

01:02:05.586 --> 01:02:06.786
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, what?

01:02:07.507 --> 01:02:11.049
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, and yeah, I guess it's a standby match.

01:02:11.069 --> 01:02:12.350
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm actually didn't call it a standby match.

01:02:13.110 --> 01:02:17.893
[SPEAKER_00]: And, uh, and they're wrestling in Nick Comerado and Aaron Solo are already in the ring.

01:02:18.414 --> 01:02:21.135
[SPEAKER_01]: And then Comerado, there's a name I have not heard in ages.

01:02:22.196 --> 01:02:27.119
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I haven't heard it since the last week when I saw him wrestle on ROH.

01:02:27.519 --> 01:02:28.640
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.

01:02:28.680 --> 01:02:29.460
[SPEAKER_00]: Watch their way.

01:02:29.560 --> 01:02:32.142
[SPEAKER_00]: Darren solos on there every week, but yeah, they got squashed.

01:02:33.362 --> 01:02:36.564
[SPEAKER_00]: Brandito won with a splash on the two of them at the same time.

01:02:36.924 --> 01:02:39.666
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think I've ever seen him win a match with a splash.

01:02:40.166 --> 01:02:43.408
[SPEAKER_00]: Certainly not two tag team partners at the same time.

01:02:43.928 --> 01:02:49.553
[SPEAKER_00]: So sucks to be these two, but yeah, I mean, they are a former world champions and I'm not complaining.

01:02:49.713 --> 01:02:52.876
[SPEAKER_00]: It was a good match, but it was weird because the match happened.

01:02:53.397 --> 01:02:53.957
[SPEAKER_00]: It was over.

01:02:54.258 --> 01:02:57.941
[SPEAKER_00]: They went to the back and I'm like, okay, what was the point of that.

01:02:58.982 --> 01:03:00.383
[SPEAKER_00]: So I guess we found it all later.

01:03:00.864 --> 01:03:01.745
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah.

01:03:02.365 --> 01:03:19.442
[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, speaking of Japan, did you see that a tecla sky blue and Julia heart interrupted the live stream and that and that a good for Julia heart in being in the in the she's doing the five star and I believe.

01:03:19.462 --> 01:03:22.906
[SPEAKER_01]: Hell yes, I've been asking for these expressions.

01:03:22.966 --> 01:03:24.648
[SPEAKER_01]: I want Anna J to do another one.

01:03:25.088 --> 01:03:28.110
[SPEAKER_00]: Sky and Julia are, well, she even resigned.

01:03:28.150 --> 01:03:28.631
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even know.

01:03:29.492 --> 01:03:32.894
[SPEAKER_00]: Sky and Julia are also challenging for the start.

01:03:32.914 --> 01:03:34.335
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm tagging titles this weekend.

01:03:35.216 --> 01:03:37.117
[SPEAKER_01]: The company, Worcester, happy birthday today.

01:03:37.197 --> 01:03:41.301
[SPEAKER_00]: I assume she resigned and somewhere Rachel Lering is fuming.

01:03:42.221 --> 01:03:44.303
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you know, that story, right?

01:03:45.170 --> 01:03:50.998
[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, basically got herself fired from TNA because she complained on social media because that's right.

01:03:51.038 --> 01:03:52.541
[SPEAKER_00]: We sure happy birthday and they rest.

01:03:52.561 --> 01:03:52.861
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

01:03:53.302 --> 01:03:53.482
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

01:03:53.582 --> 01:03:54.183
[SPEAKER_01]: I remember that.

01:03:54.223 --> 01:03:54.523
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

01:03:54.543 --> 01:03:54.784
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

01:03:55.325 --> 01:03:55.845
[SPEAKER_00]: Every time.

01:03:57.047 --> 01:03:57.728
[SPEAKER_00]: Happy birthday.

01:03:57.748 --> 01:03:58.269
[SPEAKER_00]: I bring it up.

01:03:58.629 --> 01:03:59.490
[SPEAKER_00]: And she works there now.

01:03:59.611 --> 01:04:00.532
[SPEAKER_00]: She's in our way.

01:04:01.633 --> 01:04:25.249
[SPEAKER_00]: All right, and then yeah, so then we go backstage to Renee Pequette and she's with Kyle Fletcher says you're first title defense of the international titles coming up are you ready for commander and he says of course I'm ready I'm ready to put to catch up and before you can finish that thought brodito shows up and bandito shoves the most wanted post-troness chest so I'm like okay

01:04:26.463 --> 01:04:38.836
[SPEAKER_00]: So we had Brodito wrestling in a match that wasn't promoted ahead of time, and then in a backstage segment, he challenged a champion that he had nothing to do with up until that point.

01:04:41.158 --> 01:04:44.361
[SPEAKER_00]: They did this exact same thing last month with John Moxley.

01:04:45.062 --> 01:04:45.543
[SPEAKER_00]: Do you remember?

01:04:46.706 --> 01:04:59.510
[SPEAKER_00]: Brodino wrestle the match and then after the match, Brody was all excited, the tag team were back and Bro and Bandito's like, yeah, now I want to go for the for the drum oxies belt.

01:05:00.670 --> 01:05:14.715
[SPEAKER_01]: And can I ask something else not to get too far ahead of ourselves, but didn't they also do the same thing when to cash to and Ocata were feuding to have Brodino go against either those two or

01:05:16.792 --> 01:05:38.337
[SPEAKER_00]: Takeshita and and protostar before they broke up over the belt type thing may have I don't I don't remember but it sounds like they're just repeating the hits with brodito So Mike I guess that this is like another last minute pivot for some reason See and I watched collision and on collision

01:05:39.097 --> 01:05:44.842
[SPEAKER_00]: So, okay, here I'm going to describe what happened on collision in this segment and you tell me what you think it was leading to.

01:05:45.122 --> 01:05:47.825
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I'm not even going to, I'm not going to lead the witness, okay.

01:05:48.547 --> 01:05:55.512
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so they did a backstage promo, and it was Trent and Brian Cage and Kyle Flick.

01:05:56.072 --> 01:05:57.693
[SPEAKER_00]: They're all members of the Doncalfs family, right?

01:05:58.674 --> 01:06:04.218
[SPEAKER_00]: Trent has been all cocky, and he's like, I challenged Darby Allen on social media.

01:06:04.338 --> 01:06:07.140
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm out here right now, challenging him, and he didn't even show up.

01:06:07.760 --> 01:06:11.923
[SPEAKER_00]: So to me, that means that means, you know, I win.

01:06:12.283 --> 01:06:16.146
[SPEAKER_00]: So he goes out to the ring, and he demands that the referee is his hand that he was going

01:06:18.538 --> 01:06:25.220
[SPEAKER_00]: and the the the bref's about to ring the bell and then of course Darby's music hits he comes out and they have a match.

01:06:26.000 --> 01:06:27.841
[SPEAKER_00]: Now Brian Cage is at ringside with them.

01:06:28.561 --> 01:06:32.662
[SPEAKER_00]: Kyle Fletcher is on commentary during this match, okay?

01:06:33.623 --> 01:06:36.643
[SPEAKER_00]: So they have their match, of course Darby wins.

01:06:37.344 --> 01:06:45.126
[SPEAKER_00]: After the match Brian Cage attacks Darby, power bombs them on the apron, leaves them laying and they all leave together.

01:06:46.033 --> 01:06:53.083
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, what would be the next two logical steps in this storyline, Jeff, you who have watched wrestling your whole life?

01:06:55.052 --> 01:07:00.976
[SPEAKER_01]: Brian Cage, this is the Derby and then Kyle Fletcher challenges Derby.

01:07:00.996 --> 01:07:01.317
[SPEAKER_00]: Derby.

01:07:01.337 --> 01:07:01.797
[SPEAKER_01]: That's in.

01:07:01.857 --> 01:07:02.137
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

01:07:02.237 --> 01:07:02.458
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

01:07:02.698 --> 01:07:03.638
[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I thought too.

01:07:04.479 --> 01:07:06.881
[SPEAKER_00]: And sure enough, we got the first part of that tonight.

01:07:07.261 --> 01:07:13.466
[SPEAKER_00]: And then I thought, Oh, we're going to get Kyle Fletcher and and Derby for the title for Kyle's title.

01:07:13.766 --> 01:07:21.652
[SPEAKER_00]: And everyone told me, no, no, no, it's going to be Kevin Knight challenging for Dar, or Darby challenging Kevin Knight for the TNT title, because that's what

01:07:23.155 --> 01:07:25.857
[SPEAKER_00]: And oh, yeah, that makes sense, but it feels like they pivoted here.

01:07:26.178 --> 01:07:30.221
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I think they pivoted again, because all of a sudden now he's facing him and say, I do.

01:07:30.241 --> 01:07:34.225
[SPEAKER_00]: So I think what happened was Tony looked at and he's like, hmm, which would be a better match.

01:07:34.545 --> 01:07:37.748
[SPEAKER_00]: Calcutta and Ben Dito or Carl sletcher and.

01:07:39.850 --> 01:07:40.510
[SPEAKER_00]: And.

01:07:42.392 --> 01:07:44.534
[SPEAKER_00]: Who would I just say, starby right.

01:07:45.234 --> 01:07:54.359
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Darby, let's close, but maybe, yeah, you know what, no, let's do Bandito and then he booked this angle to do Bandito.

01:07:54.379 --> 01:07:55.059
[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know, it was weird.

01:07:55.600 --> 01:07:58.501
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, and then we're getting Darby and Kevin night next week on TV.

01:07:59.002 --> 01:08:02.604
[SPEAKER_00]: And we, again, we got Darby and Brian Cage, which they didn't angle to set it up.

01:08:03.004 --> 01:08:04.245
[SPEAKER_00]: They never announced the match.

01:08:04.385 --> 01:08:06.206
[SPEAKER_00]: They just did the match, whatever.

01:08:07.106 --> 01:08:21.710
[SPEAKER_00]: Anyways, next up we got Kyle Fletcher and Commander, and as we talked about this earlier, and this was, I mean, this was, it was a great match, but it was also weird because we haven't seen Commander in forever, and he's out there, and he freaking dominated this match.

01:08:22.350 --> 01:08:27.892
[SPEAKER_00]: Little Commander, dominated big giant Kyle Fletcher, but there was some good lines here.

01:08:29.492 --> 01:08:30.993
[SPEAKER_00]: So Kyle left the match at

01:08:36.697 --> 01:08:39.860
[SPEAKER_00]: that hug invigorated me and now I feel vigorous.

01:08:40.420 --> 01:08:45.904
[SPEAKER_00]: And then Tassett, some people like coffee, you look a hug from Kyle, I thought it was good.

01:08:47.105 --> 01:08:50.908
[SPEAKER_00]: And commander ran the ropes, dove on the Kyle, and that went into a break.

01:08:50.948 --> 01:08:52.049
[SPEAKER_00]: They come back from the break.

01:08:52.529 --> 01:09:03.038
[SPEAKER_00]: Immediately they did another spot where Commander dove on the Kyle who is against the announced desk, landed on him, frickin' sliced up Kyle's body.

01:09:03.698 --> 01:09:04.699
[SPEAKER_00]: I just, oh my God.

01:09:05.039 --> 01:09:14.429
[SPEAKER_00]: Then they go back in the ring, commander hit him with a 450 from the top rope, got a two Callis said he didn't get perfect rotation, and that's why he didn't get it.

01:09:15.029 --> 01:09:18.273
[SPEAKER_00]: Kyle is just bleeding from his body from that shot from earlier.

01:09:18.833 --> 01:09:21.155
[SPEAKER_00]: Kyle charged that on Commander kicked him in the body.

01:09:22.176 --> 01:09:33.625
[SPEAKER_00]: Commander did the rope walk, Kyle knocked him off, then Commander hits a 619 and then a super destroyer, which I didn't even know what that was till I saw it, but he basically jumped from the top rope and did a destroyer.

01:09:34.425 --> 01:09:39.349
[SPEAKER_00]: That one was incredible, fans are chanting holy shit, even Don Towses putting over Commander at this point.

01:09:39.969 --> 01:09:41.751
[SPEAKER_00]: And then Commander hit a thrust kick,

01:09:42.691 --> 01:09:48.497
[SPEAKER_00]: and a missionocal driver, for, I don't know, I guess he had a thrust kick and then Kyle had a missionocal driver.

01:09:48.817 --> 01:09:55.483
[SPEAKER_00]: Then he went to Laundardum, a commander reversed it, and then Kyle reversed that, hit a brain buster and got the pin.

01:09:55.843 --> 01:09:59.567
[SPEAKER_00]: And literally like the brain buster might have been like the third movie hit in the match.

01:09:59.687 --> 01:10:02.309
[SPEAKER_00]: Like it was commander was just hitting everything.

01:10:02.569 --> 01:10:05.712
[SPEAKER_00]: And I mean it was great match, but it was weird because

01:10:06.633 --> 01:10:13.775
[SPEAKER_00]: Like I said, I don't know that it, I don't know if it brought Commander up or if it brought Kyle down or if it was a little above.

01:10:14.015 --> 01:10:15.395
[SPEAKER_00]: But I don't know.

01:10:16.875 --> 01:10:17.175
[SPEAKER_01]: It's good.

01:10:17.235 --> 01:10:18.656
[SPEAKER_01]: It's the standard up.

01:10:18.676 --> 01:10:25.497
[SPEAKER_01]: Look, it's a good match and it's a standard operating protocol for all luchadors who aren't stars.

01:10:26.297 --> 01:10:26.997
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry.

01:10:27.137 --> 01:10:29.358
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, hey, we're bringing Commander back.

01:10:29.398 --> 01:10:31.118
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's give him a hype video for a week.

01:10:31.178 --> 01:10:32.879
[SPEAKER_01]: And then maybe people will tune in to see it.

01:10:32.939 --> 01:10:34.859
[SPEAKER_01]: Why does anybody care about Commander?

01:10:35.521 --> 01:10:36.362
[SPEAKER_00]: because he has great matches.

01:10:37.182 --> 01:10:54.938
[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

01:10:57.240 --> 01:11:07.808
[SPEAKER_01]: And WWE isn't doing it, and I thought they were starting to, and they just don't, of teaching people that Lucia Door doesn't mean Geek who does cool stuff.

01:11:08.108 --> 01:11:16.394
[SPEAKER_01]: That's all I want is, and please, let's not invoke Eddie and Ray into every single match that a Lucia Door does.

01:11:16.694 --> 01:11:20.036
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's let them do their own thing, and perhaps get over on their own.

01:11:26.290 --> 01:11:28.793
[SPEAKER_01]: from the star making machine.

01:11:28.853 --> 01:11:33.778
[SPEAKER_01]: If you want me to think of him as a star, otherwise he's the guy who does big moves who gets beat.

01:11:34.358 --> 01:11:34.819
[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.

01:11:35.352 --> 01:11:36.173
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

01:11:36.333 --> 01:11:55.985
[SPEAKER_00]: And the funny thing is I was just listening like I'm a couple weeks behind on my podcast listening and I was just listening to this rant that Dave had a couple weeks ago where he was talking about how WCW used to have all these luchadors and they would have great matches, but they got buried in the booking and nobody ever cared about them.

01:11:56.814 --> 01:12:07.278
[SPEAKER_00]: but he said, AW is way different because these guys are out there every week and they're involved in things and they're having great matches and they're super over and I'm like, what is he watching?

01:12:07.538 --> 01:12:13.900
[SPEAKER_01]: Like yeah, the matches are over, but the characters aren't like Paul, you come on their show and you say, Mr.

01:12:13.980 --> 01:12:16.441
[SPEAKER_01]: Cows, the biggest star in wrestling right now.

01:12:17.261 --> 01:12:19.982
[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't think anybody in AW gives a damn about him.

01:12:20.582 --> 01:12:37.435
[SPEAKER_00]: No, because they don't, I don't even know if Tony does, like I mean, I know he does, but he doesn't even advertise him half the time and I don't know how many times and I swear it's like every week when he's at a show and the fans.

01:12:38.477 --> 01:13:01.652
[SPEAKER_00]: leave the show because they don't want to stay for collision and then they get pissed off later when they find out mystical was on the show that they were at and they didn't get to see him because eight of you didn't bother to promote that he was going to be there and last week he showed up ever he didn't run in and then I was like oh he'll be on collision nope he was not collision oh he'll be on our age nope he wasn't on our age you know what he did

01:13:02.265 --> 01:13:10.008
[SPEAKER_00]: He did a freaking dark match that wasn't even taped for for anything because I had somebody a friend of mine was out to show and texted me and told me.

01:13:10.929 --> 01:13:15.771
[SPEAKER_01]: And and he was there and you know I mean the people didn't don't know his song when he comes out you're kidding.

01:13:15.791 --> 01:13:17.631
[SPEAKER_00]: They do not know they didn't Houston.

01:13:18.672 --> 01:13:19.672
[SPEAKER_00]: But that was that was it.

01:13:20.192 --> 01:13:21.793
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, even in San Jose, they didn't know it.

01:13:21.853 --> 01:13:27.715
[SPEAKER_01]: But anyways, you need to make a condition the audience condition condition condition and when you think it's too much

01:13:29.174 --> 01:13:41.399
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, until they're singing it every week and then condition them some more, because you might have new people in the crowd the next week, um, and that's the kind of thing that people might actually go to the arena because they want to be a part of it.

01:13:42.079 --> 01:13:52.984
[SPEAKER_01]: But you know, boy, this is where this is where we get that A, W, W, schism, where it's like they just want to go there for the single lungs and the entrances.

01:13:53.724 --> 01:13:54.105
[SPEAKER_01]: All right.

01:13:54.485 --> 01:13:54.925
[SPEAKER_01]: So what?

01:13:57.802 --> 01:13:59.223
[SPEAKER_00]: And you know what, stay for the wrestling.

01:13:59.943 --> 01:14:00.944
[SPEAKER_01]: Get paid.

01:14:01.244 --> 01:14:01.685
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

01:14:02.125 --> 01:14:02.885
[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.

01:14:03.386 --> 01:14:05.427
[SPEAKER_01]: People want to see Dan Allison do his stick.

01:14:06.208 --> 01:14:07.909
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, how is that part of the show?

01:14:08.329 --> 01:14:10.791
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and just like Leo Rush, yeah.

01:14:11.491 --> 01:14:15.434
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, after the match, Kyle tried to rip off Commander's mask.

01:14:15.494 --> 01:14:16.875
[SPEAKER_00]: I figured, okay, that's the one we're setting up.

01:14:16.935 --> 01:14:17.555
[SPEAKER_00]: And Dito here.

01:14:17.615 --> 01:14:19.336
[SPEAKER_00]: And then to catch the main dude.

01:14:19.576 --> 01:14:20.837
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, catch the main to save.

01:14:21.198 --> 01:14:23.799
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, to catch the, he's in the G1.

01:14:23.879 --> 01:14:24.600
[SPEAKER_00]: What's he doing here?

01:14:25.200 --> 01:14:38.148
[SPEAKER_00]: And I guess he's like he he was here on Saturday for a match and he's he's, you know, they're back in Japan on Saturday, but I don't know why they did this now because he's not going to be around for the next month, but anyways, he's late.

01:14:38.188 --> 01:14:39.929
[SPEAKER_01]: Hold on, no, this was dumb.

01:14:40.109 --> 01:14:46.593
[SPEAKER_00]: We wrote him off a TV to go to the G1 and think what they I think what they were doing was setting something for Wimbley here.

01:14:47.674 --> 01:14:49.675
[SPEAKER_00]: That's right, think I think they're doing a three way at Wimbley.

01:14:50.357 --> 01:14:52.759
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, guess what, you can do that after the G1.

01:14:52.779 --> 01:14:55.040
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you could, but they didn't, they did here.

01:14:55.420 --> 01:15:00.804
[SPEAKER_00]: So he, to catch the late amount with one punch, well, of course, he just wrestled a matry got his ass kicked for 15 minutes.

01:15:01.064 --> 01:15:02.105
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

01:15:02.445 --> 01:15:09.629
[SPEAKER_00]: And then he held up the belt and then he'll caught a hit him with a rainmaker, and then he picked up the belt and got into a tug of war with Kyle.

01:15:09.669 --> 01:15:12.451
[SPEAKER_00]: So that's where I surmise that they were gonna have a three way.

01:15:12.731 --> 01:15:14.953
[SPEAKER_00]: And then Ben Dito showed up, took them both out,

01:15:15.473 --> 01:15:19.556
[SPEAKER_00]: They leave the ring and then Brody hit them with a top and uh, and that was that.

01:15:19.856 --> 01:15:21.577
[SPEAKER_00]: So Yeah, Redemption.

01:15:21.737 --> 01:15:26.660
[SPEAKER_01]: Redemption is going to be Brody, though, and they're going to win because there's miscommunication between Ocata and Fletch.

01:15:26.720 --> 01:15:31.023
[SPEAKER_00]: No, they announced that Redemption is going to be a bandito challenging call.

01:15:31.423 --> 01:15:31.984
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's right.

01:15:32.084 --> 01:15:32.384
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

01:15:32.404 --> 01:15:32.824
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

01:15:32.924 --> 01:15:41.192
[SPEAKER_00]: So they'll probably do the probably do Prodito against Prodashita or whatever their team name is, Prodokata, probably on like dynamite or collision or something.

01:15:41.232 --> 01:15:42.453
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I would say so.

01:15:42.493 --> 01:15:47.858
[SPEAKER_01]: I wonder if Ocata was supposed to hide the screwdriver and doesn't again.

01:15:48.679 --> 01:15:48.919
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe.

01:15:49.099 --> 01:15:49.319
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

01:15:50.601 --> 01:15:53.203
[SPEAKER_00]: Or maybe he hides it and someone else in the family uses it.

01:15:54.304 --> 01:15:55.045
[SPEAKER_00]: You have been before.

01:15:56.028 --> 01:15:57.250
[SPEAKER_00]: then Renee is backstage.

01:15:57.270 --> 01:15:58.651
[SPEAKER_00]: This is the segment you talked about earlier.

01:15:58.691 --> 01:16:03.076
[SPEAKER_00]: I think where she says it looks like it's going to be you and Kenny are you in Kevin night of redemption.

01:16:04.055 --> 01:16:07.718
[SPEAKER_00]: And he says, here in AW, there's no shortage of credible challengers.

01:16:07.978 --> 01:16:12.221
[SPEAKER_00]: I still see a little on myself in Kevin and before you can go and he further, Darby shows up.

01:16:12.782 --> 01:16:14.443
[SPEAKER_00]: And he says, you don't understand.

01:16:14.843 --> 01:16:16.725
[SPEAKER_00]: He needs to be physically humbled.

01:16:17.165 --> 01:16:21.409
[SPEAKER_00]: So next week, I'm going to take that TNT championship away from him and I'm going to humble him.

01:16:21.989 --> 01:16:23.570
[SPEAKER_00]: You can't waste your time talking.

01:16:23.810 --> 01:16:24.811
[SPEAKER_00]: You could just humble him.

01:16:25.272 --> 01:16:27.213
[SPEAKER_00]: And then Kenny said, all right, leave it to you.

01:16:27.833 --> 01:16:29.114
[SPEAKER_00]: And then incomes moxley.

01:16:29.935 --> 01:16:52.092
[SPEAKER_00]: And then he says, you know what Kenny's right, some people are what they are, can pretend to be anything else, even if they try and he looks at him and he walks away and Kenny shook his head as he was walk and he walked away and Renee looked as confused as I was a couple things for a comic book reference, I'm loving.

01:16:54.003 --> 01:16:58.264
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm loving the rorschach from the watchman aspect of Darby here.

01:16:58.284 --> 01:17:19.111
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,

01:17:20.075 --> 01:17:28.886
[SPEAKER_01]: He ended his line with like an uptick like he was gonna say something else and he didn't and you're just like, but basically what he's saying is

01:17:30.318 --> 01:17:54.557
[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're a fraud and I'm kind of like that kind of what I thought what we're going into the who's the fraud between will and Kenny here and Moxley is kind of playing up that side of it where oh we do need to be concerned now that Kenny's champ again that maybe he'll want to keep that title a little bit longer than he and he's so he's actually speaking to will here.

01:17:55.755 --> 01:18:02.401
[SPEAKER_01]: a little bit, but he's also just saying, you know, you're not this good guy that you're out here thinking the fans and whatnot.

01:18:02.521 --> 01:18:08.446
[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're a fraud or is he also sending it or is he also sending us he might not be believing it though.

01:18:08.626 --> 01:18:12.409
[SPEAKER_00]: It might just be a mind game type for a sending a subtle message.

01:18:13.130 --> 01:18:18.174
[SPEAKER_00]: He's looking at Kenny while he's saying it, but what he's actually saying is, I'm not the nice guy.

01:18:18.374 --> 01:18:19.495
[SPEAKER_00]: I have to know.

01:18:19.875 --> 01:18:22.779
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, that's possible too.

01:18:22.859 --> 01:18:23.560
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's fine.

01:18:23.600 --> 01:18:24.782
[SPEAKER_01]: And it has layers to it.

01:18:24.802 --> 01:18:25.543
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm good with it.

01:18:25.563 --> 01:18:27.005
[SPEAKER_01]: But that's why I liked it so much.

01:18:27.085 --> 01:18:32.373
[SPEAKER_01]: Also this is also a little bit of boaty thing where it's like, I'm not living a lie here.

01:18:33.434 --> 01:18:35.597
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just, I mean, like even even if.

01:18:38.887 --> 01:18:44.269
[SPEAKER_01]: Even if Moxley goes heal against Will, he's not lying to him either.

01:18:44.889 --> 01:18:46.410
[SPEAKER_01]: He's telling him the truth.

01:18:46.550 --> 01:18:46.770
[SPEAKER_01]: Right.

01:18:46.910 --> 01:18:52.932
[SPEAKER_01]: While still being the bad guy, which is a far more interesting than being the mustache twirler to me.

01:18:53.473 --> 01:18:56.114
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, no, I agree.

01:18:56.534 --> 01:19:06.918
[SPEAKER_00]: And then so then they go to break to come back and Renee, the hardest working woman in this company tonight, was on the ramp and she calls out the brawling birds and she says, fair to say the birds are back.

01:19:08.161 --> 01:19:22.749
[SPEAKER_00]: And uh, and then Jamie says, Oh, I Boston, you care for a couple of words with the birds and then yeah, then Alex says, even though we're a long way from England, if there's anyone else who knows about drinking and fighting it's these people in Boston.

01:19:24.020 --> 01:19:28.985
[SPEAKER_00]: And Jamie says we just had a couple of pints on West Broadway and a bloody good time we had.

01:19:29.826 --> 01:19:32.729
[SPEAKER_00]: And Alex's England, you let us down at the world cup.

01:19:33.690 --> 01:19:35.892
[SPEAKER_00]: And then Jamie says, but A.W.

01:19:36.012 --> 01:19:37.874
[SPEAKER_00]: sickos, I promise you this.

01:19:38.234 --> 01:19:40.817
[SPEAKER_00]: These two bricks with the tits won't let you down.

01:19:41.673 --> 01:19:44.575
[SPEAKER_00]: And then Alex says, with all in on the horizon, we could taste it.

01:19:44.915 --> 01:19:53.061
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll knock the blocks off and beat the bloody piss out any tag team and prove we're the best tag team in a w. And then Jamie says, well, haven't said that.

01:19:53.081 --> 01:19:54.422
[SPEAKER_00]: There's not much to say Boston.

01:19:54.882 --> 01:19:56.523
[SPEAKER_00]: So why do we all go and get pissed?

01:19:56.583 --> 01:19:57.664
[SPEAKER_00]: The first rounds on us.

01:19:58.625 --> 01:20:00.706
[SPEAKER_00]: And they leave, I guess they didn't stick around for the main event.

01:20:03.380 --> 01:20:05.881
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that way, the beer's cheaper through.

01:20:05.901 --> 01:20:07.282
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they get good for happier.

01:20:07.902 --> 01:20:09.222
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this is fine.

01:20:09.242 --> 01:20:11.003
[SPEAKER_01]: Hater, Hater was on fire.

01:20:11.423 --> 01:20:13.084
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the bridge with the tits.

01:20:14.184 --> 01:20:15.745
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think this was put in there.

01:20:16.125 --> 01:20:18.206
[SPEAKER_01]: Hoping that Britain had one today.

01:20:19.587 --> 01:20:19.947
[SPEAKER_00]: Probably.

01:20:19.967 --> 01:20:20.127
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

01:20:20.387 --> 01:20:21.467
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

01:20:21.767 --> 01:20:22.548
[SPEAKER_01]: And they were close.

01:20:23.328 --> 01:20:23.648
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

01:20:23.908 --> 01:20:25.889
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, God, that was such a game.

01:20:26.269 --> 01:20:27.770
[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't watch it, but I followed it.

01:20:28.423 --> 01:20:28.883
[SPEAKER_01]: I did.

01:20:29.584 --> 01:20:31.184
[SPEAKER_01]: It was on my screen while I was at work.

01:20:31.865 --> 01:20:35.567
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I was watching the battle of black parts.

01:20:36.167 --> 01:20:45.231
[SPEAKER_01]: It seems so obvious to me that if he wants to come in and do comedy, shameless is going up with this crew.

01:20:45.251 --> 01:20:47.012
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that'd be great.

01:20:47.052 --> 01:20:48.093
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, that'd be great.

01:20:48.173 --> 01:20:51.714
[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, it's odd.

01:20:51.935 --> 01:20:52.055
[SPEAKER_01]: It's

01:20:53.192 --> 01:20:54.272
[SPEAKER_01]: it's good and it's bad.

01:20:54.712 --> 01:21:01.755
[SPEAKER_01]: I like this because it gets them on screen and I like this because they're keeping them kind of sequestered from the divine dominion.

01:21:02.275 --> 01:21:04.175
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, they kind of have to.

01:21:04.615 --> 01:21:12.158
[SPEAKER_01]: I want a rather of seeing them cut this promo, do a squash match for about 30 seconds and then say, let's go have a beer, but it was fine for what it was.

01:21:12.678 --> 01:21:13.498
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that was fine.

01:21:13.818 --> 01:21:17.799
[SPEAKER_00]: They're just basically telling you, like they're, you know, you're still around and we're

01:21:22.053 --> 01:21:46.689
[SPEAKER_00]: And then, oh, so then we got a promo and at first I didn't know who it was, but then I realized it was Jericho and he said last week and this was like you he was in it's just a silhouette of his face and he says last week on dynamite you left me bloody and battered and I liked it so let's do it again July 25th that redemption you bring the pain and I'll bring

01:21:47.682 --> 01:21:59.412
[SPEAKER_00]: He churns around the pain maker and he's dressing his pain maker outfit as soon as he said you bring the pain I go no yep yep and he hell's coming for you.

01:22:00.453 --> 01:22:02.354
[SPEAKER_00]: Then chop us peers on the screen.

01:22:02.634 --> 01:22:05.337
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, let's let's pause here for a second.

01:22:05.397 --> 01:22:05.697
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

01:22:07.692 --> 01:22:11.657
[SPEAKER_01]: He's doing the gimmick that we said he was doing, but he's now he's doing it as a happy face.

01:22:12.037 --> 01:22:16.022
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's bringing back all these running through the alls old gimmicks.

01:22:16.042 --> 01:22:21.188
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it doesn't work as well, but no, no, although eventually he's going to turn heal, I think.

01:22:22.072 --> 01:22:30.098
[SPEAKER_00]: So Chomp is on the screen big cheers because he's in Boston in his hometown and he says last week I proved that Chomp was better than Chris Jericho.

01:22:30.538 --> 01:22:34.661
[SPEAKER_00]: Well at redemption, we'll find out if the pain maker is better than the psycho killer.

01:22:35.341 --> 01:22:36.622
[SPEAKER_00]: Challenge accepted.

01:22:37.103 --> 01:22:40.305
[SPEAKER_00]: But before we get there, I got one more night in my hometown.

01:22:40.705 --> 01:22:48.711
[SPEAKER_00]: So this Saturday on collision, pain maker, I want you watching and anyone out there that wants to make a name for themselves, the psycho killer will be waiting.

01:22:49.191 --> 01:23:01.647
[SPEAKER_00]: So welcome to the city of champions aka the city of Chompah and I was like, okay, and all of a sudden Darby Allen's music kicks, and I'm like, what the by the way.

01:23:02.010 --> 01:23:03.671
[SPEAKER_01]: Pretty good promo from a little champa here.

01:23:03.711 --> 01:23:06.933
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, even though it was a baby face promo situationally.

01:23:07.153 --> 01:23:11.556
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, you have to be So Darby Allen's music hits and I write down.

01:23:11.696 --> 01:23:22.843
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, is this another stand by match or is he cutting off her promo or what But they're bringing promo to yeah, they introduce them and then all of a sudden they introduced Brian Cage and I'm like what

01:23:23.803 --> 01:23:39.621
[SPEAKER_00]: Apparently, I didn't see this, and I didn't see anybody mention it, and they, in our Discord, they, you know, if somebody sneezes in AWS, they post a tweet about it, and they, I didn't see anything about this, but apparently it wasn't mentioned on social media before the show, but I didn't see it.

01:23:40.542 --> 01:23:42.263
[SPEAKER_00]: And they never mentioned it once on the show.

01:23:43.004 --> 01:23:44.846
[SPEAKER_00]: But anyways, so they had a match.

01:23:45.827 --> 01:23:58.233
[SPEAKER_00]: and they're just going all out, you know, like cage and a suplex off the ropes to the outside, cage did curls with Darby's body, thrown with an F5 type move going into a break.

01:23:58.553 --> 01:24:04.115
[SPEAKER_00]: We come back from break, there's seven minutes left on the scheduled runtime of the show and we still have a

01:24:06.316 --> 01:24:08.318
[SPEAKER_00]: Darby hit him with a coffin drop to the floor.

01:24:08.378 --> 01:24:16.087
[SPEAKER_00]: Darby did a low rope, toe pay, and then he did ground him pad on cage, cage, got right back up, closed on him, off the ropes onto the ramp.

01:24:16.747 --> 01:24:25.337
[SPEAKER_00]: Then cage through Darby into the turn buckle, like the post, and Darby is

01:24:26.778 --> 01:24:32.101
[SPEAKER_00]: like lying there and he's fricking twitching and rubbing his head and I'm like I've never seen anybody do this.

01:24:32.121 --> 01:24:33.222
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what the hell is going on.

01:24:33.942 --> 01:24:37.585
[SPEAKER_00]: And like I thought he was super like actually hurt and then there teasing the count out.

01:24:37.605 --> 01:24:38.665
[SPEAKER_00]: Darby got in at nine.

01:24:39.065 --> 01:24:40.826
[SPEAKER_00]: Then Kages dragged him right back out again.

01:24:40.846 --> 01:24:42.527
[SPEAKER_00]: He is both to set him up.

01:24:42.567 --> 01:24:49.512
[SPEAKER_00]: I probably had a drill claw on the top of the ring steps but Darby sweeped out his legs and then gave him a coffin drop onto the steps.

01:24:50.332 --> 01:24:58.160
[SPEAKER_00]: and cages flatten us back as bugs get countered out, gets back in at nine, then Darby hits a coffin drop and another one and he gets the pin.

01:24:58.760 --> 01:25:06.808
[SPEAKER_00]: The match ended at 857, you know, 657 year time and I'm like, I got no idea why they had to do this tonight.

01:25:07.568 --> 01:25:10.872
[SPEAKER_00]: And but next week, it's night versus Darby for the TNT title.

01:25:10.932 --> 01:25:12.053
[SPEAKER_00]: So like, I don't know why they couldn't

01:25:15.075 --> 01:25:19.979
[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't worse, it cut against all the work they did for Darby throughout this show.

01:25:20.359 --> 01:25:20.599
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

01:25:21.100 --> 01:25:24.402
[SPEAKER_01]: Because he was raging and saying you have to beat it out of him.

01:25:24.842 --> 01:25:29.625
[SPEAKER_01]: And he should have been a crazy person and he should just beat the snot out of Brian Cage.

01:25:30.066 --> 01:25:32.607
[SPEAKER_01]: And instead we have to watch Brian Cage get his shit in.

01:25:33.408 --> 01:25:36.370
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, and okay, and you remember I talked to you about that Trent match on Collision?

01:25:37.130 --> 01:25:37.911
[SPEAKER_00]: Like that match?

01:25:38.051 --> 01:25:43.395
[SPEAKER_00]: That should have been, he shows up, he hits him with one move and the match is over, like you did to MDF.

01:25:44.157 --> 01:25:48.961
[SPEAKER_00]: And they went nine crazy on, they went nine minutes, him and Trent.

01:25:50.542 --> 01:25:56.447
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that, that should have been Darby, like Darby is like, you, you can give Brian Cage one move.

01:25:56.888 --> 01:25:57.368
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.

01:25:57.668 --> 01:26:07.536
[SPEAKER_01]: But Darby should be angry and looking at Brian Cage, like he's Kevin Knight, and he should have been watching this and scared out of him.

01:26:07.696 --> 01:26:08.477
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, scared.

01:26:08.617 --> 01:26:08.917
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

01:26:08.937 --> 01:26:09.658
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

01:26:09.818 --> 01:26:10.198
[SPEAKER_00]: And now.

01:26:11.399 --> 01:26:11.800
[SPEAKER_00]: And then.

01:26:12.535 --> 01:26:13.475
[SPEAKER_00]: There's more to come.

01:26:13.495 --> 01:26:16.437
[SPEAKER_00]: We still have our main event, but we have a promo first.

01:26:16.937 --> 01:26:21.739
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's the rainmaker because you just go caught on call fletcher backstage and Kyle is pissed.

01:26:22.419 --> 01:26:25.400
[SPEAKER_00]: He says, bro, Dito, you want to stick your nose and family business.

01:26:25.420 --> 01:26:27.741
[SPEAKER_00]: You want to put your hands on my international title.

01:26:28.041 --> 01:26:29.322
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, be my guest.

01:26:29.742 --> 01:26:30.842
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm scared of nobody.

01:26:31.223 --> 01:26:32.783
[SPEAKER_00]: I'll defend this against anyone.

01:26:33.163 --> 01:26:33.944
[SPEAKER_00]: And as he says this

01:26:40.605 --> 01:26:43.907
[SPEAKER_00]: He does, whatever this is, you want me, Bandito.

01:26:44.147 --> 01:26:46.789
[SPEAKER_00]: He was like talking about the most wanted sign.

01:26:47.129 --> 01:26:48.630
[SPEAKER_00]: He says, well, no, I want you.

01:26:49.011 --> 01:26:57.917
[SPEAKER_00]: So for the first time ever, I want the protostarvers is the most wanted Bandito for my AW World or International Champion at Redemption.

01:26:58.557 --> 01:27:17.486
[SPEAKER_01]: and the whole time a car is just in the background and not happy about anything he wasn't needed in this promo I liked it but he wasn't needed we already got the the the the tease yeah look with the thing he we don't need to drive that thing home right afterwards let's just see Kyle fletcher being angry and challenging bro uh

01:27:19.228 --> 01:27:21.350
[SPEAKER_00]: So we go to another commercial.

01:27:21.950 --> 01:27:23.211
[SPEAKER_00]: It's now the top of the hour.

01:27:23.231 --> 01:27:24.813
[SPEAKER_00]: The show's supposed to be over.

01:27:24.953 --> 01:27:28.677
[SPEAKER_00]: I would imagine a lot of people probably turned it off thinking the show was over.

01:27:29.097 --> 01:27:32.841
[SPEAKER_00]: Because it's nine o'clock, ten o'clock, seven o'clock depends where you are.

01:27:33.441 --> 01:27:35.943
[SPEAKER_00]: And I mean, a match just ended.

01:27:35.964 --> 01:27:38.286
[SPEAKER_00]: A promo just happened and they went to commercial.

01:27:38.346 --> 01:27:40.588
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're probably, you know, you're going to come back and you see the office.

01:27:41.068 --> 01:27:42.169
[SPEAKER_00]: But no, they come back.

01:27:42.890 --> 01:27:46.812
[SPEAKER_00]: And Renee is interviewing Kevin Knight, like we still haven't been made of it.

01:27:46.872 --> 01:27:47.893
[SPEAKER_00]: What is going on here.

01:27:48.453 --> 01:27:57.759
[SPEAKER_00]: So she says next week you defend against Darby on and then the fall and then on Sunday, you're going to challenge Kenny Omega and don't call us to don't worry about him.

01:27:57.799 --> 01:27:59.220
[SPEAKER_00]: He can handle whatever's on his plate.

01:28:00.200 --> 01:28:04.342
[SPEAKER_00]: And he says, this is your first interview you're trying to play mine games.

01:28:04.362 --> 01:28:06.402
[SPEAKER_00]: I was talking about kidney Omega now.

01:28:06.422 --> 01:28:07.343
[SPEAKER_00]: He says, what was you?

01:28:07.863 --> 01:28:10.324
[SPEAKER_00]: I gave you the world title, suck it up Buttercup.

01:28:10.704 --> 01:28:12.765
[SPEAKER_00]: Everything in your life that was good was because of me.

01:28:13.685 --> 01:28:18.647
[SPEAKER_00]: And he looks at Kevin and he says, if you want to be jet two belts and you need to take care of that man.

01:28:20.101 --> 01:28:30.970
[SPEAKER_00]: And then my family shows up and he says, Kevin, this face you're putting on doesn't to fit in with the Don Carlos family.

01:28:31.330 --> 01:28:32.051
[SPEAKER_00]: It isn't working.

01:28:32.832 --> 01:28:34.193
[SPEAKER_00]: I think you need to listen to Kenny.

01:28:34.653 --> 01:28:35.914
[SPEAKER_00]: These people love you enough.

01:28:36.515 --> 01:28:37.235
[SPEAKER_00]: I love you enough.

01:28:37.736 --> 01:28:39.937
[SPEAKER_00]: And when you're ready, they'll be ready for you.

01:28:40.638 --> 01:28:42.840
[SPEAKER_00]: And then Kevin says, I don't need your love speedball.

01:28:44.265 --> 01:28:44.745
[SPEAKER_00]: that was it.

01:28:46.525 --> 01:28:56.948
[SPEAKER_00]: And then we finally get the main event, uh, divine dominion and Mercedes against high end, Maya, world, and willonite and go.

01:28:57.928 --> 01:29:01.529
[SPEAKER_00]: And I will say all these teams are of color coordinated, which is cool.

01:29:02.289 --> 01:29:03.649
[SPEAKER_00]: And they wrestle, then they wrestle.

01:29:03.669 --> 01:29:06.670
[SPEAKER_01]: We've had it speech to the divine dominions insurance.

01:29:06.710 --> 01:29:07.530
[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't like it.

01:29:07.550 --> 01:29:09.470
[SPEAKER_00]: We, oh, I didn't even know that.

01:29:10.531 --> 01:29:12.191
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, behold the goddess, something like that.

01:29:13.141 --> 01:29:14.043
[SPEAKER_00]: I skip it, so I don't know.

01:29:14.063 --> 01:29:15.224
[SPEAKER_00]: You know what, actually watch this one.

01:29:15.244 --> 01:29:16.346
[SPEAKER_01]: We will all bow.

01:29:16.366 --> 01:29:16.846
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.

01:29:16.886 --> 01:29:18.428
[SPEAKER_01]: Because I had actually talked.

01:29:18.508 --> 01:29:19.309
[SPEAKER_01]: They each talked.

01:29:19.329 --> 01:29:20.871
[SPEAKER_01]: They do the tow max and say my thing.

01:29:20.911 --> 01:29:24.616
[SPEAKER_00]: And then I had no, I had no baseball game to flip to.

01:29:24.696 --> 01:29:26.178
[SPEAKER_00]: So I have to actually watch this.

01:29:27.059 --> 01:29:27.600
[SPEAKER_00]: And, um,

01:29:28.641 --> 01:29:37.469
[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, they went to they wrestled through a break and then they come back from break at at 10 minutes after the hours when they went to break.

01:29:37.489 --> 01:29:47.858
[SPEAKER_00]: They come back a couple minutes later, Megan and double lung lower Mercedes covered Maya for two Maya reverse the superx Mercedes tagged in cross.

01:29:48.378 --> 01:29:53.203
[SPEAKER_00]: They're doing dual let's go Maya CEO chance even on Mercedes wasn't even in the match at this point.

01:29:53.823 --> 01:30:03.847
[SPEAKER_00]: And then finally Willow tags in, she ran wild, hit a spine buster on Megan Bane Mercedes made the save and then everyone runs in and does a bunch of spots.

01:30:04.127 --> 01:30:11.410
[SPEAKER_00]: And everyone ends up down my and Mercedes were the first ones up Maya rolled her up, then they rolled around the ring and everyone cheered.

01:30:12.410 --> 01:30:14.492
[SPEAKER_00]: Then my ended up on top got another two count.

01:30:14.892 --> 01:30:24.059
[SPEAKER_00]: She went for a suplex Mercedes reversed it and here's where she did the Eddie spot that on draw to hit done earlier and of course she didn't get nearly reaction on drawty did well.

01:30:25.020 --> 01:30:27.061
[SPEAKER_00]: Number one, she's done as over as on drawty is right now.

01:30:27.121 --> 01:30:29.022
[SPEAKER_00]: And number two, he'd already done the exact same spot.

01:30:29.103 --> 01:30:30.984
[SPEAKER_00]: So this is why you need agents people.

01:30:31.343 --> 01:30:35.607
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is also Boston and she should be getting chairs in her home town.

01:30:35.948 --> 01:30:42.815
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and while the problem is the match was work to get the baby faces chairs, which is, you know, for better for the TV audience, but didn't really work for this crowd.

01:30:43.690 --> 01:31:01.080
[SPEAKER_00]: uh... then uh... you know eventually high-end and lean over in there high-end dropped with a knee strike i wrote out this point i can't leave this match still going and then they start doing the all the spots again everyone's hitting bunch of moves which they already did like five minutes ago they did it all again to to get eventually everyone down

01:31:02.060 --> 01:31:07.044
[SPEAKER_00]: And ended up with Willow in there with both of the Divined Dominions, she made her own comeback.

01:31:07.565 --> 01:31:23.718
[SPEAKER_00]: She hit Bane with a Pounce, Bane line it outside the ring, then Mercedes ran in, tossed Willow out, high-end rolled her up for two, then she hit Mercedes with this awesome spear, but it didn't get any reaction because they like Mercedes, they didn't like her.

01:31:24.318 --> 01:31:29.803
[SPEAKER_00]: And then Mercedes just hit the money maker, got the win on the high-end, and...

01:31:30.563 --> 01:31:31.344
[SPEAKER_00]: She grabbed her belt.

01:31:31.744 --> 01:31:32.365
[SPEAKER_00]: She posed.

01:31:33.005 --> 01:31:34.386
[SPEAKER_00]: She left with the vine dominion.

01:31:34.926 --> 01:31:36.207
[SPEAKER_00]: They all posed on the ramp.

01:31:36.908 --> 01:31:38.609
[SPEAKER_00]: They announced matches for collision.

01:31:38.849 --> 01:31:47.356
[SPEAKER_00]: They announced matches for dynamite, including Will Osprey, Kenny Omega and John Moxley teaming up to phase Brian Cage, Jake Doyle, and Hitchesseiro.

01:31:48.817 --> 01:31:51.359
[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, Omega and Osprey are going to team with Mox.

01:31:52.340 --> 01:31:54.642
[SPEAKER_00]: And then Mercedes and the tag

01:31:57.620 --> 01:31:58.201
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's it.

01:31:58.601 --> 01:31:59.202
[SPEAKER_00]: No angle.

01:31:59.422 --> 01:32:00.002
[SPEAKER_00]: No nothing.

01:32:00.483 --> 01:32:02.485
[SPEAKER_00]: Not sure why they even did this.

01:32:02.505 --> 01:32:06.408
[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I think your main press late 48 has it on here.

01:32:06.428 --> 01:32:10.772
[SPEAKER_01]: I think triangle man is supposed to be there to do a brawl of some sort.

01:32:10.932 --> 01:32:12.473
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, that's what I think too.

01:32:12.894 --> 01:32:16.577
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so I think this startup thing was probably a last minute decision.

01:32:16.717 --> 01:32:23.167
[SPEAKER_01]: All right, you've watched more of them and I have as high end better than Maya world because I loved her.

01:32:23.328 --> 01:32:29.938
[SPEAKER_00]: I loved high end in this match and I didn't think so before today, but I think she's definitely better in this match.

01:32:31.518 --> 01:32:42.064
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I always said, so when they first both came in and everyone told me how great they both were and people were more high on my a world, I always said, I think my, I think, uh, Hayan's got more.

01:32:42.084 --> 01:32:44.325
[SPEAKER_00]: She's got a better look and she's more athletic.

01:32:45.085 --> 01:32:45.385
[SPEAKER_01]: I agree.

01:32:45.425 --> 01:32:46.146
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah.

01:32:46.446 --> 01:32:49.828
[SPEAKER_00]: But, but I will say my world has worked on her look a lot.

01:32:49.908 --> 01:32:55.611
[SPEAKER_00]: If you look at her now compared to when she first came in, she looks a million times better now and she is definitely a better worker.

01:32:56.211 --> 01:32:57.052
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'll say this.

01:32:57.733 --> 01:33:08.603
[SPEAKER_01]: Megan Bain had her working boots on because she was hustling in a lot of this and they should a high-end and I and should have got the win here and then they could have done a tag with title match with high-end of my world.

01:33:08.623 --> 01:33:16.271
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean it should have been a cross by I understand why Mercedes got the pin in her hometown so it's fine but I mean I'm watching this and going

01:33:17.647 --> 01:33:23.510
[SPEAKER_01]: You can't pin high and after she looks so damn good in this match, you need to call that spear she hit on Mercedes.

01:33:23.730 --> 01:33:24.311
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, God.

01:33:24.331 --> 01:33:24.951
[SPEAKER_00]: That was great.

01:33:25.571 --> 01:33:27.632
[SPEAKER_00]: That was like a freaking brown breaker spear.

01:33:28.193 --> 01:33:28.673
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

01:33:28.913 --> 01:33:29.393
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

01:33:29.413 --> 01:33:30.034
[SPEAKER_00]: It was great.

01:33:30.894 --> 01:33:31.174
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah.

01:33:31.414 --> 01:33:33.135
[SPEAKER_00]: And so yeah, it's a bunch of good matches.

01:33:33.195 --> 01:33:35.497
[SPEAKER_00]: Good show long long.

01:33:35.517 --> 01:33:37.598
[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that's one of the longer overruns they've ever done.

01:33:38.058 --> 01:33:39.579
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this is in like scheduled ones.

01:33:40.319 --> 01:33:41.820
[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah.

01:33:42.140 --> 01:33:44.482
[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, and we got the paper view in 10 days.

01:33:45.737 --> 01:33:46.658
[SPEAKER_00]: four matches right now.

01:33:46.898 --> 01:33:48.099
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure they'll add more next week.

01:33:49.540 --> 01:33:51.101
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm curious what John Mox is going to do.

01:33:51.442 --> 01:33:53.583
[SPEAKER_00]: I thought he might be challenging for the title, but I guess not.

01:33:55.145 --> 01:33:55.765
[SPEAKER_00]: We have a night.

01:33:57.867 --> 01:33:59.588
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, and hangman's best.

01:33:59.848 --> 01:34:02.170
[SPEAKER_00]: We never even mentioned that a lot.

01:34:02.631 --> 01:34:06.034
[SPEAKER_01]: She's after all that and they didn't plug that either.

01:34:06.054 --> 01:34:07.755
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it feels like they didn't show it.

01:34:07.775 --> 01:34:09.356
[SPEAKER_01]: It's

01:34:15.083 --> 01:34:15.864
[SPEAKER_01]: It's possible.

01:34:15.884 --> 01:34:17.405
[SPEAKER_01]: No, Moxley wants to be involved with that.

01:34:17.465 --> 01:34:20.947
[SPEAKER_01]: Then what do you because was he part of the beat down originally when the dog.

01:34:20.987 --> 01:34:22.449
[SPEAKER_00]: He has been a threat.

01:34:22.629 --> 01:34:23.089
[SPEAKER_00]: He has been.

01:34:23.149 --> 01:34:28.393
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because it feels like dogs and deathwriters versus cage cope in the Bang wing gang and some.

01:34:28.413 --> 01:34:30.434
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you could do some sort of a cage match or something.

01:34:30.775 --> 01:34:35.138
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, or just a straight tag title match with, you know, the deathwriters.

01:34:36.419 --> 01:34:38.600
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but yeah, good show.

01:34:38.640 --> 01:34:40.121
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we're over our time.

01:34:40.261 --> 01:34:43.544
[SPEAKER_00]: Much like Tony Khan was so let's do our plugs.

01:34:45.346 --> 01:34:46.506
[SPEAKER_01]: Shake them ropes this week.

01:34:46.566 --> 01:34:49.887
[SPEAKER_01]: I believe Rob will be solo because I have surgery tomorrow.

01:34:51.147 --> 01:34:55.288
[SPEAKER_01]: Talking things WWE, the strange build for SummerSlam, I assume.

01:34:55.848 --> 01:34:58.729
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what he wants to talk about, so I can't really plug it.

01:34:59.189 --> 01:35:06.811
[SPEAKER_01]: But no, well, I hope to be well enough to do the show with you and Garrett tomorrow here on the, or not here on Fight Game.

01:35:06.831 --> 01:35:08.031
[SPEAKER_01]: It's on the figure of the game.

01:35:08.071 --> 01:35:08.531
[SPEAKER_01]: It's on the game.

01:35:09.032 --> 01:35:11.592
[SPEAKER_01]: But it's on, it's the Fight Game podcast, so.

01:35:11.612 --> 01:35:14.653
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, on Wrestling Observer, I think we're going on video, but I'm not positive.

01:35:15.153 --> 01:35:31.734
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so that'll be fried or Thursday night and then Friday I'll be back with Garrett on this site and I think Jeremy finds someone is joining us as well for the take down and we're going to talk we're going to talk about the decision to have MJF lose the title on

01:35:32.455 --> 01:35:45.528
[SPEAKER_00]: TV as opposed to pay for view and how that changed everything and just this idea of these lame duck pay reviews and you know whether a W is doing some damage to a potentially lucrative part of their business by doing this.

01:35:46.391 --> 01:35:52.795
[SPEAKER_00]: And then what Jeremy Zeros were going to also talk about the G1 and you don't give our picks and talk about what we would be thought about the first night and everything.

01:35:52.815 --> 01:35:59.879
[SPEAKER_00]: So you can look for that on this site that we Friday after noon, I think.

01:36:00.299 --> 01:36:02.360
[SPEAKER_00]: We haven't said an exact time, but we're doing a Friday afternoon.

01:36:02.640 --> 01:36:05.402
[SPEAKER_00]: We normally do it Tuesdays, but Garrett was busy and couldn't do it.

01:36:05.462 --> 01:36:10.705
[SPEAKER_00]: So Garrett is doing instead of I think it'll be when though he usually does the observer with Dave, that's what we're going to do this.

01:36:10.965 --> 01:36:12.006
[SPEAKER_00]: So you can check that out.

01:36:12.146 --> 01:36:13.827
[SPEAKER_00]: You'll get a reminder if you subscribe to this site.

01:36:14.988 --> 01:36:29.156
[SPEAKER_00]: And then yeah, and then yeah, so and then also yeah, Jeff and I'll be back on Sunday with our buddies seven Dan with the music nerds and we had a great first show and I got a lot of positive feedback and a lot of people watching listen to it.

01:36:29.196 --> 01:36:31.117
[SPEAKER_00]: So hopefully you can too.

01:36:31.698 --> 01:36:37.521
[SPEAKER_00]: So for Jeff Hawkins, I've been Paul Fontaine and this has been the dynamite show.
