Garrett Gonzales and Paul Fontaine are back with Takedown, where each host brings five topics from the week in wrestling and neither knows the other's list ahead of time.
First up is a new Wednesday night war. AEW Blood & Guts is set for November 4 in Jacksonville, and NXT is reportedly moving from its usual Tuesday slot to Wednesday because The CW's midterm election coverage takes over Tuesday night. That puts NXT directly against Dynamite: Blood & Guts, and the guys talk about what that means for both shows, the ratings, and a fan base that has to choose.
Then it's WWE's WarGames. Survivor Series: WarGames is November 28 in Houston, and the build is heating up as Roman Reigns gets pulled into the mix. Garrett and Paul break down how the Bloodline and the 946 storyline could shape the teams and what Reigns' involvement does for the match.
They also dig into Jon Moxley's AEW Continental Championship defense against Mark Davis at WrestleDream, a bloody match where Moxley paid tribute to the late Pac with the Brutalizer before putting Davis out with a rear naked choke, and what it means for both men going forward. The rest of each host's five rounds out the show.
